Harry, Liam and Niall sat on Niall's bed, trying to decide what the voice meant.
"What if the rose isn't a rose but someone with a rose mark?" Liam thought out loud.
"That would be impossible, nobody has a blood red shade of rose mark!" Niall answered.
They've been running in circles for months, trying to decrypt what the voice meant.
"We need more info." Harry said, the boys nodded in agreement.
"Do we ask Lucifer?" Liam suddenly asked.
"What?! No! Why do you wanna strike a deal with the devil?!" Harry responded immediately.
"Who said anything about deals now?" Liam said raising his eyebrows in amusement.
"Lucifer is literally Satan's son!" Harry argued back.
"He's Zayn's best friend!" Liam countered.
"How's that connected to this?!" Harry frowned.
"Stop! Both of you!" Niall said annoyed.
"I wanna meet Zayn!" Liam declared and left the room.
"Fell in love and decided to leave us! His best friends!" Harry mumbled angrily. He did not like how much attention he was giving to Zayn! The guy he should be staying away from in the first place!

Liam sat by the lake, his face resting in his palm as he dazed thoughtfully into the water. He threw pebbles into the still lake, making it move.
When will I see Zayn again?
Will Zayn ever love me?
Do I even have a chance?
What if there's someone else in his life?
Can I win his heart? Can I ever make him mine?
Meow?
"Huh?" Liam turned around startled to see a black cat with golden eyes staring at him with its head tilted to the side, as if asking him a question.
Liam looked at the cat for a few seconds when a sudden realisation dawned on him. It's the same cat from the other day!
"Omg baby, where have you been?!" Liam said picking up the cat and making it sit on his lap.
"I've been searching for you everywhere but you just disappeared into thin air!" Liam said petting the cat making it purr happily.
Mrow.
"I'm sorry baby I don't speak cat language." Liam said sadly. He really wished he could understand at least what this particular cat speaks to him.
The cat once again looked at him with its head slightly tilted to the side.
"Do you wanna know what I'm thinking?" Liam asked suddenly.
The cat nodded.
Can cats nod? He doesn't know but he still started speaking anyways
"There's this guy I previously told you about. Zayn." Liam started.
On hearing the name, the cat's ears perked up and it looked at Liam's face even more curiously.
"I'm in love with him. I know sounds really stupid. How can you fall in love with someone who you met just once? The thing is...I feel like I've known him all my life. I don't know. At first I thought I had a crush on him when I saw him from the library terrace because heaven knows there's no man prettier than him. Never was and never will be. Not in any of the realms. This guy, he loves keeping to himself and pushing people away. That's okay. I understand why he does that. Everyone treats him pretty bad which honestly pisses me off. I want to help but I don't know how. But the worst part is, the angels want to punish him for stealing the book when it was me who did it in the first place! I didn't mean to, I swear! It was just so alluring I couldn't help it. Since then I've been searching him for every single place possible but it's like he's disappeared into thin air just *poof*!! I want to apologize, I'm dying to apologize, to speak hell to just get a glance of that beautiful face but he's just no where! At this point I'm ready to go meet Lucifer and beg him to show me where Zayn is but it just...its scares me. He's the ruler of hell afterall. Though now, angels scare me more than the demons." Liam ranted. He couldn't care less he was ranting to a literal cat right now. As long as someone listened. The cat always listened when it could just say "fuck it" and walk on its merry way. But it listens. Unlike his friend who just start arguing.
The cat stared silently into the void once Liam was done speaking. Both sat in silence for a while before the cat suddenly got off Liam's lap and started walking off. Liam thought it was walking away when suddenly the cat turned to him and meowed.
"Do you want me to follow you again?" Liam asked surprised.
The cat nodded and started walking again. This time Liam followed it. Curious to see where it'd take him this time.
