"What a waste of time!" Michael said annoyed as he sat on his throne. "Zayn never entered the human realm!" He yelled.

"My apologies, your highness. My informant must have mistaken. I shall talk to him at once!" Alex said left the castle.

There was no informant. Alex had sent them the wrong way on purpose. He knew that the humans were suffering. He wanted to see if his King would bother helping them if brought to face them directly. Sadly, he didn't. The Angels simply did not care about anyone else but themselves. Besides, Alex wasn't gonna throw Zayn into their hungry hands like that. That's not why he was protecting Zayn for all these years!

"Was Zayn really seen there or did you lie?" Taylor asked following Alex.

Alex rolled his eyes and left without answering his brother's question.

"You won't like the consequences, Alexander!" Taylor called out.

"I'll face them when the time comes!" Alex yelled back and flew away from there.

Alex flew back to the place he had hidden Zayn at only to find that he wasn't anywhere near anymore.

"What does it feel like to have wings and be able to fly?" Liam asked running a hand over Zayn's golden and red feathers. They were beautiful just like him and always had him mesmerized.

"Do you wanna fly, Liam?" Zayn asked and Liam nodded excited.

"Come here then" Zayn said opening his arms. Liam went and wrapped his arms around Zayn's neck as Zayn wrapped his around Liam's waist before he opened his wings and soared up in the air.

"This is why you should have an immortal boyfriend!" Liam grinned making Zayn chuckle.

"I would've thought that's the only reason you're with me, if I didn't know any better." Zayn smirked while Liam just smiled cheekily.

BOYFRIEND?!!

"I wish I had wings too." Liam pouted sadly but smiled on receiving a kiss from Zayn.

DID ZAYN JUST KISS ME?!!

"You have me for that, now." Zayn replied.

"My very own living, breathing pair of wings" Liam grinned.

"Mhm" Zayn hummed as he looked at Liam with a fond smile.

Is this like a parallel universe where Zayn loves me back and we're together? If yes then I'm running there RIGHT NOW.

"You look so pretty!" Liam said placing a flower crown he just made on Zayn's head and admiring him.

"Am I now?" Zayn chuckled.

"Yes you are!" Liam smiled.

"Not more than you though" Zayn said softly caressing Liam's cheek making Liam blush.

"And you look prettier when you blush like that." Zayn said pinching Liam's cheek making Liam blush harder.

Am I capable of loving someone?

"You make me so happy!" Liam exclaimed. Zayn opened his mouth to say something but suddenly a pair of hands held onto Liam and pulled him away from Zayn.

"Let me go!" Liam yelled trying to get out of his grasp but he failed. Zayn wanted to stop whoever it was but he couldn't even move. It was like he was shackled down to the place.

Zayn immediately woke up from his nightmare only to find Liam sleeping peacefully snuggled against him. Sighing in relief, Zayn held Liam even closer and shut his eyes.

He's fine and he's right here. Safe and sound in my arms. They're just memories.

And Zayn fell asleep again.
