One academic year at Noxus is equal to two earth years. One year is theory the other is nature learning or as humans call it, practicals. Magic school lasts a total of six years. Meaning one would be 27 years of age when they would graduate. Zayn was an exception. He had joined the school at 14 instead of 16. Meaning he was going to graduate at 25 instead. 

It was the year Zayn was going to graduate. There was just 2 months left. It was a holiday today and Zayn and Liam had decided they would spend the whole day exclusively together today as it was even their 8th anniversary today.

They started their day in the kitchen as they cooked each other's favourite dishes and then had breakfast together. Once done with breakfast, they exchanged gifts. Liam had gotten Zayn matching couple's bracelets from the human world which Zayn absolutely loved. He was always fascinated with the humans and their ways. Zayn had gotten Liam a self-crafted pendant necklace. The pendant was shaped as Liam's mark, a beautiful red orchid. It was made of red diamonds which completely baffled Liam as red diamonds are the rarest diamonds to exist. Only 20-30 of them were said to exist in the whole world and here his boyfriend was carefully clasping a necklace with at least 10 of them in it, around his neck.

"So pretty" Zayn said looking at Liam fondly after he was done clasping the necklace onto Liam's neck.

"How?" Liam asked carefully holding the pendant in his hand.

"How what? How you're so pretty? God only knows that because I never imagined someone so beautiful could even exist until I saw you for the very first time." Zayn said making Liam blush crimson.

"N-no. Ahem. I meant how did you get this necklace?" Liam asked clearing his throat.

"Didn't like it?" Zayn asked.

"I love it!" Liam answered "But where did you get it from?" He asked.

"I made it myself" Zayn answered making Liam gasp in surprise.

"You made this necklace?!" Liam asked astonished.

"Yeah. It was hard to find these gems but not impossible. I've been looking for them ever since I first saw your mark. 6 months ago, I finally found them and have been working on this necklace since then. I've even cast a spell on it that shall always protect you. Even when I'm not around. So if I'm ever away from you for reasons I don't know right now, you shall always remain protected and nobody will be able to put even as much as a small scratch on you, so please never remove it okay, Jaan?" Zayn asked and Liam nodded.

"I will never remove it." Liam said clutching onto the necklace "It's really really pretty"

"Just like you but never as much as you." Zayn said and kissed Liam softly on the lips while Liam kept blushing but had a huge grin on his face.

Then they went to meet Liam's family where they had lunch together. They always thought Liam was exaggerating when he'd tell them about Zayn growing even more beautiful than before but on finally meeting Zayn they knew they were wrong. Liam was right all along. Zayn was prettier than anything to ever have existed. They spent the afternoon together, catching up on each other's lives and having fun.

In the evening they went to their favourite spot on the realm, a beautiful flower filled field with a stream nearby. Liam sat making flower crowns while Zayn just sat admiring his boyfriend. Once done, Liam placed the flower crown over Zayn's head and stepped back to admire his art.

"Ravishing as always" Liam grinned making Zayn smile. "What a sight you are for the sore eyes, my dear boyfriend" Liam said wrapping his hands around Zayn's waist and pulled him closer.
