Sometime in the past~
"Oooh so many flowers!" Liam said looking around excitedly. After their trip to the Human World, Zayn and Liam had gone to visit the Rose Realm.
"Pretty no?" Zayn asked.
"Yes but never as pretty as you!" Liam winked making Zayn chuckle and shake his head.
"Do you think your parents will like me?" Liam asked worried. "I brought these red roses for your mum from my place and some chocolates too."
"Oh don't worry, Li. They will love you, I'm sure!" Zayn replied with a smile.
"Okay" Liam said nodding but suddenly stopped on seeing the royal guards staring at him.
"Can we go from another route please?" Liam asked.
"They're just royal guards, love. They won't harm us. They protect us." Zayn explained.
"Still. They're so scary looking!" Liam whispered.
"Alright, whatever you say." Zayn said and signaled the guards that he'll be going through another route.
After walking a while they came across an old bamboo bridge. Liam stopped and looked at Zayn. Zayn intertwined their fingers and started walking ahead and Liam stuck close to him.
"Is it dangerous?" Liam whispered.
"No I just like it when you're close." Zayn replied as they crossed the bridge.
Zayn didn't bother to let go of Liam's hand and Liam didn't mind at all. Instead he loved the fact they were walking hand in hand. Though Liam couldn't help but think why Zayn was flirting with him if it was forbidden?
"Hello son and son's boyfriend." Evigheden greeted the two boys as they walked inside the castle gates making Liam blush.
"Boyfriend?" Zayn asked surprised.
"Well you're clearly not acting like friends" The King said and Zayn let go of Liam's hand. It kinda stung but Liam immediately put on a smile and greeted the King.
"You're home!" Rose said hugging Zayn before turning to Liam with a smile "Welcome to our realm!"
"Thankyou your majesty, this is for you!" Liam said handing the queen the gifts making her smile wide.
"What a sweet boy!" Rose said ruffling Liam's hair and walking in with her husband.
"See, I told you they'll love you!" Zayn said with a grin.
"Yeah, you're right" Liam nodded with a smile.
Once inside the castle Zayn suddenly asked "Dad you don't mind if Liam were my boyfriend?"
"Of course not!" Evigheden surprised "Why would I be against you being with someone who makes you happy? Besides even your mother looks extremely pleased" he said looking at Rose and Liam who were looking at the garden and discussing about something with a lot of interest.
"But I heard it was forbidden" Zayn said sadly.
"What's forbidden? Falling in love?" The King asked.
"Falling in love with a boy when you're a boy yourself" Zayn answered.
"Bullshit. You can fall in love with anyone you wish, main thing is that they love you back just as much and keep you happy, got it?" Evigheden asked and Zayn nodded.
"Besides, the angel's rubbish do not fall on us. Now go get your man." Evigheden smiled making Zayn chuckle.
"Alright father, got it." Zayn smiled and went to Liam.
"Hey can we talk?" Zayn asked and Liam nodded.
"Great, come along." Zayn said as he took Liam's hand and walked to another room. Liam followed confused.
Suddenly stopping, Zayn turned to Liam and asked "Can I kiss you?"
"W-what?" Liam asked surprised.
"No?" Zayn asked dejected.
"No wait that's not I meant!" Liam replied immediately.
"Then?" Zayn asked confused.
"You said it's forbidden. What if we go to hell?" Liam asked worried.
"If I were to kiss you and then go to hell, I would, so I could brag to the devils that I saw heaven without ever entering it." Zayn said making Liam blush.
"Y-yes then" Liam said trying to calm his beating heart. Sensing how nervous and excited Liam was getting, Zayn smirked.
Current time~
Knock knock knock
"Ughhh" Zayn groaned and woke up.
"Louis?" Liam asked opening the door.
"You both need to leave, RIGHT NOW!" Louis said pushing Liam out of the room.
"What?" Zayn asked sitting up confused.
"Quickly, the angels know you're here, YOU BOTH NEED TO FIND A NEW PLACE RIGHT NOW!!!!" Louis said urgently.
"But-"
"No buts!" Louis said dragging Zayn out the room but paused on seeing his wings and gasped.
"Zayn!" Louis said excited.
"What now?" Zayn asked frowning.
"Your wings! There are red feathers!" Louis said pointing at some of the black feathers which had now gone back to their original colour."
"I- wow- how?" Zayn asked running his hand over the red feathers.
"Roll your sleeves up! I need to see your mark!" Louis said and Zayn followed.
Louis looked at the mark and gasped. "Oh my God! It's turning red!"
