Knock knock knock

Liam let out a sigh and got down the bed before opening the door to see Louis standing there. Louis eyebrows shot up in surprise on seeing Liam.

"Oh hey, didn't expect to see you here" Louis said wondering if he had walked in at the wrong time.

"Hey Louis." Liam said with a small smile.

Louis smiled back before asking "Is he awake?"

"Yes, come in." Liam said walking back so Louis could come in.

Zayn was sitting leaning on the bed rest, staring into space.

"Hey bud, you okay?" Louis asked sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Yeah. Don't remember much but I came to know about a binding spell my father casted during my mother's first death and I want to know more about it." Zayn replied.

"First death? Your mother died more than once?" Liam asked surprised.

"Yeah" Zayn nodded somberly "She died twice. Once when I was 10 and the second time when I was about to graduate." He sighed before adding "That's when I lost my dad too and then Angels began their reign"

"Reign of terror." Louis added and Zayn nodded.

"Do you not know about this?" Louis asked looking at Liam surprised.

"No" Liam shook his head. "His parents were alive when we were together"

"Oh." Louis said nodding.

"You went to my home, didn't you Liam?" Zayn suddenly asked looking at Liam expectantly.

"Yes, I did" Liam answered.

"Can you tell me what you saw there?" Zayn asked sitting up straight.

"Are you sure?" Liam asked worried.

"Yes." Zayn answered.

"Ok" Liam sighed. This was going to be a hard conversation. Liam sat and explained everything he and his friends saw and went through in the rose realm and answered all the questions Louis had. Zayn silently listened all along.

"You said your friend, Niall heard someone say something to him." Zayn asked.

"Yes. He heard a voice asking him to protect the blood rose. We've been searching ever seen but never found it." Liam answered.

"That's why you asked me the other day." Zayn said realising.

"Yes. But now I know what the blood rose is. But I don't understand who the voice belonged to as it was Niall who heard it." Liam said thinking about the possibilities.

"It's my father." Zayn answered without thinking.

"I too believe so. It has to be the King." Louis said nodding.

"But isn't he dead? Can immortals even die?" Liam said frowning confused.

"No they cannot. My father binded his and my mother's lives together when she died the first time. The spell kills the one who cast the spell when the binded one dies but since an immortal cannot be killed, it only get rids of the shell and binds that person's energy to the place of death which is the castle in this case. Has your friend heard the voice after you left the place?" Zayn asked and Liam shook his head.

"It's definitely Evigheden then!" Louis said standing up. "I'll have to look this up in the book of forbidden spells. You guys continue." Louis said turning to leave when suddenly from the corner of his eyes he saw something. Louis turned around to see the black feathers had now taken a red tint. It was a long way to go but there was still red in it. Louis immediately left the room, now with the goal of finding out more about the curse.

"Why were you sleeping by the stream instead of your house?" Zayn asked once Louis left.

"An angel came looking for me so I had to run away. I wanted to talk to you so I went to your place but you didn't show up and I fell asleep" Liam answered.

"My friends, their memory has been erased too. Do you happen to know what could be the reason?" Liam asked confused.

"Did they have any special abilities?" Zayn asked.

"As much as I know, Harry's mum is an ex angel hence he's powerful enough to open portals and Niall can hear the dead and see visions from the past." Liam answered.

"Son of am ex angel...hmm. Can your friend see visions from the future too?" Zayn asked.

"No not that I know of." Liam said shaking his head.

"Well that's interesting information." Zayn said pondering on what could be the reason.

"Mind if I cuddled you?" Liam asked looking at Zayn worried he'll say no.

Was it too much too fast?

"Not at all, come" Zayn said opening his arms making Liam grin.

Liam happily went and cuddled to Zayn. He had missed Zayn a real lot and didn't know what to do and what not to do as for one all of this was new due to lost and memories and to the other it was so normal it was now a daily habit that was done without a second thought.
