The cat stopped by a waterfall then ran away. Liam looked at the beautiful waterfall in front of him in awe.

"I didn't know there was a waterfall here!" Liam exclaimed.

"That's because it's supposed to be hidden from prying eyes." An all too familiar voice said making Liam turn around so fast he almost fell. Concern flashed on the eyes of the person who had just spoken.

"Zayn!" Liam said unable to believe his eyes. He wanted to go hug him so bad but that would be extremely inappropriate as this was just their second official meeting.

Oh how Liam had been dying to hear that voice, to see that pretty face.

"Are you okay?" Zayn asked still concerned.

"Yes!" Liam said almost immediately as he nodded. He didn't want Zayn to worry about him for nothing. Clumsy was Liam's middle name, it was nothing to worry about!

"Okay." Zayn said relaxing a little.

"Do you feel it too?" Liam asked abruptly making Zayn look at him with an eye brow raised.

"The-the peace and tranquility here!" Liam added. That was not he meant at first but it's the best possible save, he thought.

"Yeah." Zayn sighed as he walked towards the stream and dipped his hand in. "It's always quiet and peaceful here."

"Yeah, so peaceful!" Liam said as he went and stood beside Zayn.

"That's why this is my favorite place." Zayn replied. A piece of information nobody except him knew.

"Does that mean you're always here?" Liam asked excited making Zayn chuckle.

"Yes. This is where I run to if not the library." Zayn answered. Another piece of information he wouldn't like to share, so easily slipped out from his tongue.

"Oh. You've got exquisite taste." Liam said sitting beside Zayn. But instead of looking at the stream like Zayn was, he was sitting facing Zayn looking at him with a boyish smile.

Oh how pretty Zayn was! Why would they treat someone like him the way they're treating him? He's been trying to figure it out but kept running into circles over and over again. There was a large portion of important information he was missing to piece it all together. How was he supposed to reach to it?

"Blood rose!" Liam suddenly said out loud making Zayn turn and look at him.

"Blood rose? Do you see one here?" Zayn asked looking around. He doesn't remember seeing one here before.

"No. The person with a blood rose as their mark! Do you know if someone like that even exists? My friends refuse to believe there does." Liam sighed sadly.

"Yes." Zayn said looking at his hand in the water.

The yes was enough to make Liam cheerful again.

"Yes?! Who??" Liam asked curious.

"There was once born a guy with a blood red rose mark on his hand. Nobody knows who it is though." Zayn said removing his hand from the water and sprinkling it on the grass and walking away. The moment the water touched the grass, new flowers bloomed making Liam gasp.

"Wait!" Liam called out.

"Yes?" Zayn said stopping but not turning.

"You just made flowers bloom!" Liam exclaimed.

"Yes, and?" Zayn asked with his back still facing Liam.

"Why are they treating you like you're a monster when you can literally make new life bloom?!" Liam said walking towards Zayn.

"I'm a threat to them." Zayn said and walked away.

Liam just stood and watched as Zayn disappeared somewhere into the distance. He looked back at the flowers which now had butterflies dancing around it.

This is so wrong!

Liam marched angrily back to his house. He wanted to tell his friends that Zayn is literally opposite of everything they've ever assumed him to be!

(Next update shall have the rest of the book as I'm planning to publish everything together instead of continuing putting so many gaps between the chapters. It'll be out by the end of October :))
