Chapter 1 - Annoying Wolf

Wednesday's pov

"WEDNESDAAAAAY".

Oh no here she is again. What does she want from me.

"Wednesday! Over here!"

I pretend that I didn't hear anything. I avoid the colorful girl calling out to me and I walk as fast as I could to prevent our encounter. I completely forgot she has this teleportation ability in her that I can't figure out. As soon as I'm about to go in the corner, a girl is standing right in front of me making me flinch a little. (A little, okay ?)

"Howdy Wednesday! I was calling and you didn't notice me so I ran to get to you" the girl says enthusiastically.

"Hey Enid. It's nice to see you. Sorry I was... On a phone call" I hesitate putting a tiny smile, avoiding rolling my eyes at her.

Enid smiles and was too innocent for her own good. She always visits me at work saying that she's hungry and wants me to treat her to lunch.

"That's okay, Wens. Please let's go! I'm super hungry. I could eat a whole cow" Enid exaggerates giving the brightest smile.

"I have a lot of work to do. I gave you money. Can't you just go by yourself ?" I say softly trying not to offend the energetic girl.

"Hm. You promised me we would go on a date with a lot of meat on our table" Enid pouts as she puts her hand on my shoulder.

"Come on, Enid just this once. I promise I'll give you a lot of chicken, and lots of beef". I thought I was going to escape when suddenly, the joyful werewolf gives a deadly gaze at me. She puts her index finger on the back of my ear down to my neck and she puts it in her mouth pretending that she has an icing on her finger while her free hand claws her nails around my shoulders. She gives me a mischievous smirk and puts her hand back to my shoulders going to the back of my neck and pulls it near her leaving our face inches apart. I blush slightly not wanting Enid to notice it.

"You know that I don't want to eat without you. Or do you want me to eat you and leave your body here till it turns to ash ?" The girl says smirking with a hint of disappointment on her face.

I gulp and smile nervously. She does this every time she's not given what she wants till I just give in and try to enjoy her company.

I was about to open my mouth when the devilish look on her eyes turns to her jolly self again leaving me confused on how to read her facial expressions.

"So let's go ?" Enid smiles. She turns her back and skips her way to a restaurant.

I sigh and follow her,,,defeated. My girlfriend is going to be the death of me...

and my wallet...

I chose Enid and Wednesday since Enid is a good character to be in my story since she's a werewolf on the original series.
