I stare at Mark, gobsmacked.
He looks over at Austin and Alan as if saying 'uh, is she okay?' Because I haven't moved or talked in about 15 seconds and I left Mark hanging and didn't shake his hand.

I look up at him and say "is my father alive?" Which is the first thing that comes to my mind,

"Yes of course, he's been here the whole time," says Mark, looking confused once again.

"Where is he?" I say

"He's in the main building with the other scientists that survived, would you like me to take you to him?"

I nod my head and ask for Austin and Alan to come because I don't want to be by my self.
We walk through streets of people who as usual, are looking at us funny, and we arrive to the Main House.
Mark escorts us inside and around corridors and past rooms which are being occupied by a single soldier who looks to be of importance- and I pass a room with Trent in it and he waves at me as we go past, I smile back and I hear the boys giggling behind me.
We turn left and arrive at a steel door with little windows at the top, but I'm to short so I can't see through them, even on my tipy toes.
Mark opens the door and we walk through what looks like a science lab, on both sides of the room there's benches and stools with people sitting on them working away with their sciencey stuff, I didn't pay attention to science in school- but whatever they're doing it looks important.
Mark asks for us to wait near the steel door, and he disappears around a corner.

"So uh, what does you father do again?" Asks Alan looking at me slightly concerned,

"He's a scientist, and I'm pretty sure his old lab is where the explosion came from," I say, making a few scientists in the room look at me suspiciously, and Alan's and Austin's eyes widen.
Mark pokes his head around from the corner which he disappeared to and signals for us to go to him, we walk over and I'm greeted by my dad.

*NORI'S DADS POV*
I'm sitting in my office inside the science lab when Mark comes over and tells me Eleanor is at the safe zone.
I jump out of the chair with excitement and happiness that's unexplainable 'she's alive.'
We walk out of my office and there she is, my beautiful daughter- but who are these men she's with? They look like a couple of band members she'd talk about all the time and that she'd make me buy their tee shifts- the ginger is Alan, and the tall one is Aaron? No, Austin! That's it.
I run up and hug her tightly, and start to cry.
She looks up at me and says "dad don't cry, that's lame," and smiles and hugs me again.
I stand up and shake the boys hands, thanking them for looking after my daughter.
"They saved me many times!," she tells me. I've never been a fan of band members- I always thought they were assholes- but these two are an exception.

*NORI'S POV*

Dad invites us into his office and I tell him about all our shenanigans and adventures- except the George issue, that's a little too personal. But he seems overjoyed that Austin and Alan brought me back to him in one piece.

"So, it looks like I didn't have to buy you the tickets to their show after all," says dad apologetically, but giggling at the same time, "how long have you's been here?"

"We arrived today, we've only been here a couple of hours," says Austin

"We're in Stony Rise at house 23," I add.

"How about you all move into my house, it'll be cheaper for you's- and more people would be able to come into the safe zone," says dad, I don't think he trusts me- a 15 year old girl living in a house with men in their 20's, even though he's really grateful for them being there for me- but I don't mind moving in with dad.

"Sounds great, we'll go get our stuff and-" I say before dad cuts me off,

"Oh no, I'll get one of our soldiers to get your stuff for you," says dad pressing a little button on his desk which acts as an in built phone, "Trent could you go into house 23 at Stony Rise and get my daughters and her friends stuff please?" Asks dad, there's a short silence before Trent answers- he probably didn't know I was dad's daughter.
"Great- now let's go home." Says dad.
