She's the one

Unexpected

It was a crisp Saturday morning. The sun shining bright but frost showing on cars and windows. Charlotte and Mia hadn't moved positions since they fell asleep. Charlotte woke up with a loving feeling in her heart. She hadn't felt like this in so long. She knew Mia was the one for her. She was thinking about how Mia admitted to picturing her being her wife. As much as she knew that was far away, the thought about it, it made Charlotte's heart melt. She looked at Mia, who was peacefully sleeping. Little did Charlotte know that this was one of the first nights in a while where Mia slept with no issue, and that was because of Charlotte. She was none the wiser the impact she was having on Mia in many different ways.

Charlotte watched Mia, holding her tighter every time Mia stirred and gently rocked side to side. Eventually an hour had gone passed, so next time Mia stirred, Charlotte was going to allow her to wake up. Sooner enough, Mia began to stir and woke up. She stretched her body and looked at Charlotte with a smile. "Morning sleepyhead" Charlotte said to Mia.

"Morning Sweetheart. What time is it?" Mia asked Charlotte. Charlotte grabbed her phone. "It's nearly 10 o'clock. I'll have to go and get my girls in a few hours". Mia whines and wraps her arms around Charlotte. "As much as I don't want you to, I know it's your duty too". Mia and Charlotte looked into each other's eyes. Mia leant forward and softly kissed Charlotte on the lips. A couple small light kisses turned into a make out session. Both smiling into the kisses. Both of them knew it wasn't going to go any further than kissing, but they were enjoying one another's company.

Moments went by and Charlottes phone started ringing. At first, they both ignored it, but the phone rang again. Charlotte grabbed her phone and saw it was George ringing. She answered "Hi honey, everything alright.... Oh no is she alright?... alright give me an hour and I'll be there...alright bye". Charlotte sighed looking at Mia. "Everything alright?" Mia asked. "My Bella has been sick, and she wants me. I'm sorry Mia, I'll have to go and collect the girls". Mia grabs Charlottes cheek "Sweetheart. It's alright, don't worry at all. Go and collect your daughters". Charlotte smiles and head leans into Mia's hand. They had another quick peck before getting up and getting ready.

Charlotte got ready and Mia watched her from the bed. "Are you going to get ready" Charlotte asked Mia. Mia smiled and stretched her body. "Hmmm, I think I might lounge around some more". Charlotte laughed "Well lucky you" Mia laughed.

Charlotte had finished getting ready. She watched as Mia laid in bed on her phone. She leaned towards Mia and grabbed both side of her face and kissed her on the lips. "I've got to go now darling". Mia's face went sad. "Alright sweetheart. Text me when you can", "Alright darling". They shared one more peck before Charlotte left to get Annie and Bella.

Mia stayed in bed for a while scrolling on her phone. She eventually got out and headed downstairs. She turned on the radio and connected her phone to play her own music and tidied up from last night. There wasn't too much to tidy, so it didn't take Mia long. She decided to keep the fairy lights up as she though it looked cute. It was now around 4 and Mia had finished cleaning up. She sat down on her sofa and turned the TV on. All of a sudden, she felt her thoughts getting to her head again. She saw the opened bottle of wine from last night. She went over to the kitchen and pour herself a glass of wine. She walked back over to the sofa and slumped herself down. She grabbed her phone and saw Charlotte had messaged her. It's like Charlotte made all her thoughts go away. She couldn't let herself get in her own head when she was thinking about Char.

"Hiya, sorry I haven't messaged. Both of the girls aren't feeling well so it's been a bit hectic. I have just put them both to bed" Charlotte had messaged Mia.

"Ahh sweetheart, I'm sorry things have been hectic. I hope the girls are feeling better soon. What you up to now?". Mia replied.

"Just sorting some things out and will start making dinner soon. I haven't gone shopping, so will probably be turkey dinosaurs and chips"

"Ahh darling. Let me order you a pizza. I'm going to get myself one too because I can't be bothered to cook. We can have a FaceTime date when it arrives"

"That'd be lovely. Thank you, Mia"

Mia orders the pizzas and 40 minutes later, the pizzas turn up to Mia and Charlottes house. Charlotte got a pepperoni pizza and Mia ordered a Hawaiian.

Mia put a few slices on a plate and got herself a glass of diet coke and her phone started to ring. She had a smile on her face until she saw who was actually ringing her.

Sorry this was a short chapter. I am going to spend the weekend writing so I can update this story more often :)
