For a Devil as prideful as Riser, who had suffered humiliation at Takumi's hands before this line had finally pushed him over the edge.
"You...! I'm going to enjoy breaking you. I will make sure you will never recover from this. I will leave you alive just to make sure Rias can see your pathetic state."
But instead of his words rousing anger from Takumi.
*Chuckle*
"Wow, now you have got me curious." It was as if Takumi was treating him like a child, a lesser being. Riser got up, his wings of flame unleashing and all of the injuries on him disappearing as the air around got hotter, Takumi just kept grinning.
"Some spirit you have. I'll tell you what, how about this. You hit me as hard as you can. After all, I wouldn't want the audience to think that I am bullying you harder than I already am." Takumi glanced at Riser, his gaze sent shivers down his spine which pissed Riser even more than he already was.
"Hah! You are going to regret your words mage! You may have your tricks but I will show you what the real gap between us is." Riser got into a fighting stance, rousing his magic power before concentrating it in his fist and lunging at Takumi.
"Inferno Blaze!" "Didn't I tell-"
*Boooooom!*
Riser's fist burned bright like the sun itself before striking Takumi head-on, creating a giant explosion that pushed the mist around them back while creating a lot of smoke and debris. It sounded like a missile had gone off.
"Haha, I hope you are still alive to regret your words mage! Wha-!" Before Riser could even finish boasting the smoke cleared and the sight he saw made the words get stuck in his throat.
Takumi, who was only pushed back a few meters, his sleeves only slightly torn and burnt, he was still smiling like the punch didn't even happen. Shaking his arms slightly he walked toward Riser menacingly.
"-You, I am the Red Dragon Emperor, not a simple mage. But I suppose the fault is on me for thinking mere words would get through your thick head. Don't worry, here, let me help you get it through your skull for you."
*Swish!*
One moment Takumi was walking toward him and the other moment he saw Takumi's figure blur before he saw a crimson gauntlet cover his vision as Takumi firmly gripped his face.
*Crash!* "Guah!!!"
Takumi slammed Riser face-first into the ground, cratering it as he planted Riser into the dirt like an idiot tree. But Takumi did not stop with that.
*Stomp!* *Crash!*
"Did it go through yet or do I have to push harder?"
