Chapter 74: Pounding x Phenex

After having a little movie night with Asia watching the movies of this world and relaxing I returned to the standard flow of things after Asia slept. I physically had no need for sleep after all. Hanging out with her gave me some ideas after all.

I decided to have Arc have my manager Homunculi start gathering data on the games and movies of this world. I felt an emptiness not being able to enjoy the games I used to love so I wanted to know what was missing so that I could "fill in the gaps" by starting my own game development company.

Oppai Dragon was incredibly popular? I was going to blow this world's mind if that was one of the most popular shows. This world was not ready for the Shrek Series. I may not remember other movies that well to replicate them faithfully enough for me to feel comfortable doing so, but I can recite the entire Shrek movie script by heart.

After all, what am I using my god-given powers for if not my own enjoyment? I am sure the god of heaven would approve of me using the wisdom of heaven to bring Shrek to life in this world.

Anyway, I moved to my underworld mansion that was basically rebuilt overnight waiting for the Phenex mother-daughter pair in the meantime I spent some effort creating a defence array around the house. Basically preventing direct teleportation and alerting me to anyone entering a kilometre radius of my house. But I went a step further.

Not only did I have an automatic defence I had a manual one in case that one got bypassed. I basically big brothered my house and property with dozens of cameras, both magical and physical in case someone detected the magical ones.

And then there was a manager-type Homunculi dubbed Monitor whose sole job was to monitor the entire camera feeds and inform me in case anything out of the ordinary was happening as well as create a summary of events that happened in the feeds every 24 hours.

Other than that I worked on the seals that would hold the beasts that Grayfia would deliver me sooner or later. I was making sure these seals were as airtight as possible and even sending some designs to Ajuka to get his opinion on them.

Before long the time of arrival had come, I waltzed back into my living room where there was a large circular carpet in the middle for summoning circles, they were automatically redirected there. And if the monitor pinged them as hostile then the barrier would activate and trap them before the 50 Holy Hand Grenades under the floorboards would explode and blow anyone below Ultimate Rank into smithereens and trap their souls.

...Yeah, I may have gotten just a little paranoid.

The carpet lit up with the magic circle of Grayfia as three figures teleported into my humblest abode. I saw that both Rayne and Ravel were in their usual outfits of their dressed while also carrying luggage with them. Stepping out of the teleportation circle Grayfia approached me and stood beside me professionally, letting the Phenex pair speak.

Ravel looked around my mansion in wonder as well as the two standard maid homunculi stationed around to do general cleaning while her mother, who was clearly more restrained and focused omitted looking around and instead bowed to me lightly. Seeing her mother do so Ravel quickly averted her attention and bowed lightly as well.

"Greetings, Lord Sekiryuutei." "Yes, greetings Lord Sekiryuutei." Ravel quickly followed in her mother's footsteps. That's cute.

I spread my arms wide in greetings, gotta always have some flair after all.

"Whelp! Welcome to my humble abode and your new homes you two! I am sure you already know what your roles are so I won't bore you with that drivel. You can choose whichever room to live in the mansion you want, and you can also decorate it however you want. Do you two have any questions? Also, cut it out with the Lord Sekiryuutei, it's cumbersome just call me Takumi or any variation of it."
