She didn't think of him today. Or at least, she didn't think of him until her sister reminded her about the medical congress which both of them, Aina and her sister, have to attend because of their job. It reminded her the time when one of the similar congresses she attended with him. She started to think about the possibility of him being there, but as quickly as this thought occurred in her mind, it disappeared as well.
Then, a familiar unease settled in her stomach, but it was different this time. She wasn't waiting for him to return or for closure that might never come. Instead, she had accepted that his absence was just a part of her story now, something she could carry without breaking.
