Diego watched as Madison gently peeled off the gauze and placed a new one onto his healing wound. His gaze drifted over to the blue dress that she had changed into earlier this morning, and he smiled. "You look pretty."

Madison playfully rolled her eyes. "You've told me that six times already this morning and it's not even nine o'clock." Diego simply smiled. "You're beautiful."

"Jesus Lover Boy, are you high on pain meds?" Lila asked as she strolled into the living room and sat beside Madison on the couch. Diego leaned forward, only to Madison to gently guide him back onto the couch. "Relax," Madison warned Diego before turning to Lila. "He's always like this."

"And you don't get sick of it." Lila waved a hand. "Like ever?"

With a smile on her face, Madison shook her head. "No." She turned to Diego. "If anything, it makes me fall in love with him even more." She leaned down and kissed him.

Behind her, Lila made gagging noises.

Still kissing Madison, he sat up and blindly reached out with his right hand. He found Lila's shoulder and pushed her. Lila gasped as she fell to the side. "Mom, Diego pushed me!"

Madison pulled away. "Now was that necessary?"

"She's annoying," Diego replied.

"Well, you're even more annoying," Lila fired back.
