Thirteen-year-old Madison's eyes stayed trained on her father, Matthew Henderson as he held up his hands which were covered in boxing gloves. She looked down at her own hands which were hidden inside the purple boxing gloves.
"It's time, sweetie," her father said.
Madison then ripped off the boxing gloves and held her fists up as she took her stance, ready to fight her dad.
"You can do it Maddie!"
Madison looked over to her right to see Steve, her ten-year-old brother, sitting down on the grass, cheering her on. She sent her brother a small smile. Course she dropped the smile as she turned to her father. She stared him down with a harsh glare.
"It's time, Madison," he said as she nodded.
Next thing Matthew knew, his daughter was throwing punches and kicks left and right. Matthew managed to block a couple of her punches but was thrown off by surprise when she started doing new punches he hadn't taught her.
Suddenly, Matthew was looking up at the sky. He let out a series of groans as his ears rang. He could faintly hear cheering. He pushed himself up on the grass, a smile broke out on his face upon seeing Steve jump up and down in celebration. His eyes then trailed over to Madison who had a grin on her face.
