I won't create a space in my life for you to stand
Won't leave a page blank in my journal in case you choose to come back
I won't carve a whole in myself to fit your whims
I will not wait for you
I will not un-make my self for you
I can't hurt myself trying to understand you any longer
You made your choices, now you have to live with them
I will not wait
I won't slaughter myself to forgive you
Wont burden myself with the weight of your conscious
Won't hold myself responsible for your actions
Won't blame myself, every single day, for the way that you are
You're an adult.
Act like one.
