The next morning, the air almost vibrated with Mrs. Kim's sharp voice calling out to Jin.

"Jin! Get up! You're late!" she shouted.

Jin shot out of bed, only to trip over his blanket and land flat on his butt. Everything happened so fast that even Jungkook, watching from nearby, couldn't react in time to save him from the fall.

"Ouch... my butt. The hell... what time is it?" Jin groaned, reaching for his phone, only to gasp in shock. "Damn, I'm late!"

He scrambled to the bathroom, brushing his teeth at lightning speed. Jungkook floated nearby, chuckling softly to himself. He had spent the entire night watching Jin sleep, mesmerized, and now this... well, this was a new kind of entertainment.

Jin rushed back out, throwing on his hoodie, grabbing his bag, and running to his mother. "Mom, I'm late! I'll skip breakfast," he said, hurriedly tying his sneakers.

Mrs. Kim, always prepared, shoved a cream bun into his hands. "See, that's why I told you to sleep early. You never listen! Here, take this and eat it on the way," she scolded, though her tone was fond.

Jin nodded, kissed her cheek quickly, and darted out the door with a rushed "Bye!"

As he sprinted down the road, he was about to take a big bite of the cream bun when he noticed an old man sitting on the sidewalk, looking helpless and hungry. Without a second thought, Jin stopped and handed the man his breakfast.

The old man’s face lit up with gratitude. Jin simply smiled and hurried off again, not even thinking twice about it.

From above, Jungkook watched with his arms crossed, smiling warmly at the gesture. "Such a pure heart... I can't help but want to protect him more."

As Jin continued running down the street, his usual clumsiness kicked in. His foot caught on a crack in the sidewalk, and he stumbled forward, arms flailing wildly.

Jungkook, hovering just above him, sighed with amusement. With a flick of his finger, Jin's body was gently straightened up before he hit the ground.

"Close call," Jungkook muttered, smirking.

Not even a minute later, Jin nearly tripped again, this time over a small rock in his path. Jungkook sighed louder, swooping down to pull Jin back upright before his face met the pavement.

"Seriously?" Jungkook mumbled, half-exasperated, half-amused.

But it didn’t stop there. Jin kept running, clearly in a rush, but his coordination seemed to get worse with every step. He almost ran straight into a lamppost, Jungkook casually nudging him to the side just in time.

"How does one human trip so much in a straight line?" Jungkook muttered to himself, holding back a laugh. His wings fluttered with the effort of keeping up.

Jin, oblivious to all the divine intervention, panted as he ran, completely unaware of the angel saving him from one disastrous fall after another.

Finally, Jin almost skidded into a puddle, and Jungkook quickly lifted him slightly into the air before his shoes could get soaked. Jin glanced down at his feet in confusion, as if wondering how he'd managed to avoid that puddle so miraculously.

"Must be my lucky day!" Jin grinned, totally unaware, while Jungkook chuckled above him.

"Yeah, lucky... and oblivious," Jungkook sighed, shaking his head with a fond smile as he followed him all the way to school.

As Jin arrived at school, still in his usual chaotic rush, he fumbled with the strap of his bag while trying to open the door to his classroom. He juggled his books, almost dropping them, but managed to catch them just in time, barely keeping his balance.
