As they strolled through the park, the atmosphere was alive with the sounds of chirping birds and the soft rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm, golden hue over everything. Jungkook felt an electric thrill at being so close to Jin, their shoulders brushing occasionally as they walked side by side.

“Isn’t it beautiful here?” Jin asked, glancing around at the vibrant greenery and the blooming flowers. His eyes sparkled with enthusiasm, and Jungkook couldn’t help but smile at the sight.

“Yeah, it really is,” Jungkook replied, his gaze fixed on Jin rather than the scenery. “But I think it’s even better now that I’m here with you.”

Jin blushed at the compliment, his cheeks tinged with a soft pink as he looked away, shyly kicking at a pebble on the path. “You always know what to say,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper.

They continued walking, the silence between them comfortable, punctuated only by the occasional laughter of children playing nearby. Jungkook watched as Jin bent down to examine a cluster of wildflowers, his fingers delicately brushing the petals.

“Do you like flowers?” Jungkook asked, taking a step closer to get a better look.

“They’re beautiful,” Jin replied, straightening up and looking at Jungkook. “I love how they come in so many colors. They remind me of… life, I guess.”

“Life?” Jungkook echoed, intrigued. “What do you mean?”

Jin hesitated for a moment, his gaze drifting to the ground. “I don’t know... They bloom, they fade, and they come back again. It’s like a cycle, you know? It makes me think about how everything changes.”

Jungkook’s heart ached at Jin’s words. “I like that. Change can be beautiful,” he said softly.

“Yeah,” Jin agreed, his eyes sparkling with a mixture of hope and melancholy. “But sometimes it’s scary too.”

Jungkook’s protective instincts flared. “You don’t have to be scared, Jin. I’m here. I’ll make sure nothing bad happens to you,” he promised, his voice earnest.

Jin looked up, surprise flickering across his features. “Really?”

“Really,” Jungkook said, feeling the weight of his words. “You can count on me.”

A smile spread across Jin’s face, lighting up his entire being. “Thank you, Jungkook. That means a lot to me.”

They continued walking, and Jungkook felt a sense of belonging he hadn’t experienced in ages. As they walked deeper into the park, he couldn’t help but think about how he wanted to protect this happiness, this moment, and this connection they were building.

“Hey, do you want to sit for a while?” Jin asked, gesturing toward a bench under a cherry blossom tree. The blossoms danced in the breeze, showering them with delicate petals like confetti.

“Sure,” Jungkook replied, excitement bubbling within him as they settled onto the bench. The moment felt perfect, as if the universe had conspired to bring them together in this serene setting.

As they sat, Jin leaned back slightly, glancing at Jungkook with a curious expression. “So, tell me more about yourself. What do you like to do?”

Jungkook’s heart raced. This was his chance to open up, to share a piece of himself with Jin. “I like drawing, actually,” he said, his voice steady. “It’s kind of like how you feel about flowers. It’s my way of expressing everything I can’t say.”

Jin nodded, interest sparkling in his eyes. “Really? I’d love to see your drawings someday.”

“Maybe I can show you one,” Jungkook replied, his smile growing. “What about you? Do you have any hobbies?”
