A week had passed, and yet Jin couldn’t stop thinking about that strange dream. It played over and over in his mind, but no matter how much he tried, he couldn’t figure out its meaning. Since the lab incident, Jin had somehow become more well-known for his kindness. Students approached him often, thanking him for forgiving the chaos in the chemistry lab and simply wanting to chat. Of course, the most talkative among them was Minyung, who had made it his mission to always be around Jin. Jungkook, though, did not like this at all.

One morning, Jin arrived at school and found a folded letter tucked inside his locker. It was a simple white envelope with his name written neatly across the front. Confused, Jin pulled it out and opened it carefully. Inside was a heartfelt confession from a secret admirer. As Jin read it, his lips curled into a surprised smile. Someone has feelings for me? he thought, his cheeks slightly pink. It was sweet, innocent even, and Jin felt flattered.

From the shadows, Jungkook watched. The moment Jin’s smile bloomed, something dark twisted inside of him. His heart clenched, and his wings—always hidden—twitched violently. Who dares confess to him? Jungkook growled internally, his possessiveness surging like never before. He’s not theirs... he’s mine!

Jungkook’s emotions boiled over, and with a flick of his fingers, a gust of wind blew through the hallway. The letter was ripped from Jin’s hand and sent fluttering into a nearby puddle. The ink smeared instantly, the words of the confession now unreadable. Jin sighed in disappointment, assuming it was just bad luck. He bent down to pick up the now-ruined letter, his brows furrowing.

Jungkook, still in the shadows, smirked to himself. No one else gets to confess to him... he’s already taken.

Jin had no idea who wrote the letter, but Jungkook knew. He had been watching Minyung closely, glaring at him every time he spoke to Jin. The jealousy Jungkook felt was overwhelming. He didn’t want anyone near Jin, let alone confessing their feelings. Minyung was becoming a problem, and Jungkook’s possessiveness only continued to grow. I’ll do anything to keep him close to me... even if it means stepping into his world.

Later that day, Jin went to his favorite park, the same one where Jungkook had first seen him, sitting under a large oak tree with his sketchbook. Jungkook sat perched on a branch above, watching Jin closely, enjoying the quiet moment. But then, out of the corner of his eye, Jungkook noticed a familiar figure approaching—Minyung. He was far away but heading directly toward Jin.

Jungkook’s mind raced. He overheard Minyung’s plans to confess to Jin in person after the failed letter attempt. Not again. Jungkook couldn’t let it happen. Suddenly, an idea sparked in his mind. Maybe this was his chance. Maybe this could bring him closer to Jin.

For the first time in years, Jungkook allowed his feet to touch the ground. His wings vanished in a soft glow, his celestial form blending into a human disguise. He adjusted his clothes, still dressed in white, but now his hair was down, making him appear more like a regular guy. There was still a faint glow to his skin, but he figured people would dismiss it as makeup. This will work, he thought, reassuring himself.

As Jin sat on the grass, lost in thought, he heard a soft voice behind him. “Excuse me?”

Startled, Jin blinked and turned, his eyes landing on a pair of legs before he tilted his head up to see who was speaking. His breath hitched the moment he saw the man standing before him. The stranger was beautiful—far too beautiful, like something out of a dream. His heart raced, and a blush crept up his cheeks as he quickly scrambled to his feet.

“Y-yes?” Jin stammered awkwardly, still stunned by the man's appearance.

“I’m a bit lost. Can you tell me where Joy Park is?” Jungkook asked, trying to sound casual, though his eyes never left Jin’s face.
