"Baby this feels like a terrible idea" Karis looked up at me with his face laced with worry. Ty and I decided that the only way we could re-up quickly without anyone realizing we were out of product was to make a deal with my shady uncle.
"I know papi, just let me do all the talking." He just rolled his eyes and flashed his gun at me. Knowing Karis everything I just said went in one ear and out the other. "Hola Sobrino. I see you brought your little.. how do you say it in English? Girlfriend." I mentally rolled my eyes and sighed. It was taking everting in me not to just shoot his ass right here. I looked over at Karis and immediately noticed his frustration and anger dancing across his face.
I was proud of him for not popping off immediately like he normally would when someone disrespected our relationship.
"Kill that shit we ain't come here fa that."
"So what is it exactly that you wanted to talk about then nephew." I mentally rolled my eyes and tightened my jaw. This was the last thing I wanted to do.
"Could you front me about 4 kilos?" I knew he was enjoying this moment because his straight and intrigued face quickly changed to a smirk.
"Ok I can get you them keys, however you on my time now Sobrino. I want it all sold within the next three weeks."
I nodded my head as I watched him go grab a school sized backpack which I assumed contained our product. "This is just two kilos. My plug from Venezuela is gonna come down some time this week and you can pick up the other two then."
"Ight that's cool."
He nodded his head and began to walk off before stopping in his tracks. "Oh yea; I'd go visit mami sometime soon Adoncia. She's not doing too well Sobrino." My heart immediately sunk. I've been so busy these past few months It completely slipped my mind to check up on her.
"Ight imma go see her, thanks tío." With that I snaked my fingers in between Karis's. He didn't protest like I thought he would instead he gripped my hand tightly. I loved feeling karis's skin on mine. It often soothed me.
"Where we going next?" Karis asked as he lit one of my woods in my cupholder. I turned my head pretending to look at something else because I didn't wanna look him in his eyes as I halfway lied.
"Imma drop you off then imma go handle business with Tyree for a while." He looked at me suspiciously as the smoke poured from between his plump lips.
"Ight that's cool what time you coming home?" I shrugged my shoulders then grabbed the blunt that he passed over to me.
"Ion know probably late; I gotta go see my abula too." I mean it's not like I'm completely lying to him I was gonna go do all that; but I was also gonna go buy another ring for him. Ian talking bout all them other flashy one's I get him, nahh this one the real deal. At this point I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Karis. He was everything I felt like I'd been missing.
