Episode Seven, Part 6:
The Garden of EdenI could die tomorrow.
You'd be close behind.Harlow grabbed onto his brother's hand and pulled him up from the ground, sparing his life by mere seconds as their final attacker yielded his sword into the dirt where Bas had been laying.
As the member of New Riders fought to pull out his weapon, Harlow took advantage and pierced his blade into the man's gut, watching as crumbled to the ground in a matter of seconds.
"Thanks," Bas said, patting Harlow's back as he caught his breath.
Harlow nodded; he would have felt bad for killing the guy if he hadn't tried to kill his brother, first.
"No problem," he said.
"Where's Izzy?"
Harlow felt a rush of panic swarm in his chest. Now that the immediate threat was over, he could remember what he was supposed to be doing.
"The Garden of Eden," he answered. "I have to meet her there, but we need to find the others first."
"Dreea's over there," Bas said, using his blade to point in the direction of the former Sovereign where she appeared triumphant over a small group of New Riders who laid on the ground.
As Harlow and Bas jogged over, several more familiar faces began to appear around their friend until eventually, they had reached them, and Harlow was overcome in relief to see all of his family still alive.
As he looked over everyone, one face stood out in particular and Harlow found his feet moving past everyone to get to them.
"Kodiak?" He said, setting a hand on his shoulder in disbelief. "What happened? We thought you were-" He was surprised by how difficult it felt for him to say the words.
"Someone knocked me out," he answered. "One of the guards shielded me and took me back to camp. But I seem to have lost my radio at some point, which is why no one could reach me. Riv found me and caught me up," he said, nudging his arm softly into Sol who was stuck close to his side. "What's the update on Izzy and the others?"
"They're at The Garden of Eden," Harlow said. "And we need to get there. Did all of you hear the radio call from Elijah?"
He looked over everyone; Wynn, Sol, Dreea, Kodiak, and Bas all nodding.
"Okay. I'll run ahead with Riv and Kodiak," Harlow instructed. "The rest of you need to round up a group of guards and follow after us. If you know where Aeryn or Fenn are, they're probably best served where we're going; I have a feeling it'll be a bloodbath."

Izzy and Veer ran after Eden, desperate to catch up to her but she was already out of sight no matter how many bushes they ran through, or branches pulled out of their view.
"Where did she go?" Veer asked. "How have we lost here?"
"She's near," Izzy said. "I can hear someone straight ahead; it's gotta be her."
Veer continued straight, treading carefully on the uneven slope she hurried down, then up again on its other side. There was light up ahead where the trees ended, and if she was right about where exactly she was, then Veer knew it would be some sort of clearing. Surely if they had matched Eden's pace, then they would be able to see her the minute they stepped out into the open.
Veer pulled herself up the slope, bursting through the branches and catching her breath, only to feel her feet stop in their tracks and her eyes widen at what was in front of her.
