[Luna's POV]

The morning sun painted a golden glow on the horizon, casting warm rays that danced across the trees as Darius and I walked together. There was a tranquil silence between us, a rare and peaceful moment that felt like an oasis after the storm of chaos that had filled our lives. The soft rustle of leaves and the distant melody of birds were the only sounds around us as we ventured deeper into the forest, our fingers brushing against each other's in a quiet but intimate gesture.

I glanced up at him, admiring the way the light played on his chiseled features. His presence was comforting, grounding, and as his golden eyes met mine, I could feel the bond between us strengthen. My lips curled into a smile as he reached out, gently pulling me closer until I was pressed against his side, our bodies walking in sync.

"You're quiet," Darius remarked, his voice soft but teasing as he ran his hand down my back.

I shrugged, glancing around the serene woods. "Just enjoying the peace," I murmured, then added, "and you."

His lips curled into a knowing smile as he stopped us, turning to face me. With one swift move, his arms wrapped around my waist, tugging me flush against his body. The heat from him enveloped me, and I felt my heart quicken at the proximity, the warmth of his skin against mine.

"I missed this. Us. Without everything else getting in the way," he said, his voice dropping into that low, sultry tone that always made my breath catch.

I didn't have to respond. Instead, I leaned up, pressing my lips to his in a slow, tender kiss. It wasn't rushed, but I could feel the hunger simmering just below the surface. His hand slid into my hair, tugging gently, and I moaned softly into his mouth as the kiss deepened, his tongue slipping past my lips to tease and taste me.

The sensation sent a shiver down my spine, and I pressed closer, feeling the hardness of his body against mine. It was like we had been starved of each other, and now every touch, every kiss, felt like it was reigniting the fire that had been burning for weeks. My hands roamed over his chest, feeling the firm muscles ripple under my fingers as he groaned softly against my lips.

As we reached the edge of the forest, the sight of the crystal-clear lake shimmered before us, but my attention was fully on Darius. I could feel the shift in him, the way his gaze darkened with desire as he looked down at me.

"Before we head back," he whispered, his lips grazing the sensitive skin of my ear, "how about a swim?"

I smiled, already knowing where this was headed. "A swim? Now?"

Darius's lips curled into a mischievous grin. "We haven't had any time to ourselves in weeks. I think we deserve a little... fun, don't you?"

The heat between us was undeniable, and as he stepped back, swiftly tugging his shirt over his head, my heart skipped a beat. His body was perfect—muscular and toned, his chest rising and falling with each breath. I bit my lip, feeling the familiar warmth pool low in my belly as I followed his lead, slipping out of my clothes, tossing them carelessly on the ground.

The cool air kissed my bare skin, but the thrill of being naked with him out here, in the open, sent a surge of excitement through me. The anticipation between us was electric as Darius reached for me, pulling me into the cool water. It was a sharp contrast to the heat that radiated from him, but the sensation only heightened my awareness of every touch, every caress.

His hands were everywhere—gliding over my back, cupping my breasts, teasing my nipples until I gasped, arching into his touch. His lips found mine again, this time more urgent, more demanding as he claimed my mouth in a fiery kiss. I moaned softly, my fingers tangling in his hair as he pulled me even closer, our wet bodies pressed together.
