Chapter 147.

Whoever killed Justin.

"We need some back up at the camp" Iris hears Juniper's voice sound through her walkie, shouting coming from the background, Iris stops what she's doing and quickly climbs onto her bike, she speeds down the road, moving her bike into the trees and stopping it by the group of people, Iris turns her bike off, everyone's shouts filling the air.

"Juniper!" she shouts climbing off her bike and pushing through the crowd, "Juniper!" she shouts, "hey!" she shouts, running over to Gabriel as one of the saviours fight him, Iris grabs the man and throws him to the floor, more people begin to fight. "Stop!" she orders, but no one listens, "Hey! Hey! Stop this shit! Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!" Alden says, separating people.

"We're gonna find out who did this, and we're gonna make sure it never happens to us again, all right?" Alden shouts, standing next to Iris, "Us? You're not one of us anymore." a man in front of them says "Us, means all of us." Alden says looking around at everyone, the man grabs Alden and punches him in the face making him stumble back.

"Go shovel that horse shit to whoever killed Justin!" the man says, going to punch him again, Iris grabs him by the wrist and stops him "I thought you were supposed to be our leader." he says, looking down at Carol holding onto her gun.

"Enough. Turn around, all of you." Carol orders "No can do, Cee. Why don't you go ahead and yank that Roscoe, pop me right here? It's better than worrying about getting it in the back." he says. Carol pulls her gun out of its holster, Iris lets go of the man and pulls her from her thigh, the others behind them doing the same.

"We don't want this. Hey, we just need to protect ourselves." Laura says "No guns!" Daryl shouts, Iris looks back to see him standing looking over everyone, "That 'cause you're the one who took out Justin?" Iris looks back at him and glares.

"Nah. My money's on garbage lady." another man says "mines on the red head" his friend says, glaring at Iris, "No. It's him. Finishing what he started." DJ says, Iris watches him as he walks away, she spots the axe as he picks it up, the saviours finding weapons, Iris raises her gun and points it at them. "Hey, stop. It's gonna go too far." Arat says, trying to get DJ to stop "Nah. It won't." Daryl says, lifting his crossbow and pointing it at DJ, "Maybe it's all three of them." DJ says, walking towards Iris.

Suddenly a horse runs out in front of her, "Everyone back off! Right now!" Rick orders from the horse, Iris lowers her gun, watching Laura and Arat take the saviours weapons "All right, we are not doing this. Let it go." Laura says. "I'll talk to Rick. I'll try and find a way to make everybody feel safe, all right?" Alden says.

"Start the redirect. Pair off to work the grid." Rick orders as everyone scatters, Iris walks off and starts searching for Juniper again "juniper!" she calls out, "hey she's here!" Laura shouts, Iris runs over to the woman kneeling down next to Juniper's body on the floor, blood on her head.

"Shit" Iris mumbles, she lifts her sister with help from Laura, Rosita and Carol run over when they see the scene, Iris and Laura carry Juniper to the medic tent and lay her down on the bed, "what happened?" Enid asks "i don't know she was on the ground" Iris panics, "she must have been knocked over and hit her head during the fight" Laura says.

Iris steps back and storms out of the tent, "Iris!" Carol shouts trying to chase after the woman, "Iris!" Rosita shouts, grabbing her arm and stopping her, people stop what they're doing and watch the woman, "whats going on?" Maggie questions, running over with Rick, "it's juniper" Carol says.

"I'm gonna kill them" Iris threatens she pulls her arm out of Rositas hold "iris stop" Rick says, holding onto her shoulders "we'll fix this" he says, Iris looks up at him, her anger dissolving and panic setting in again, Iris turns and walks back into the tent.

She sits down next to Juniper holding onto the blonde's hand, closing her eyes and trying to calm down, everyone leaves her alone as she cries over her sister, "come on." she pleads, looking down at Juniper's sleeping face, the group stand outside the tent, thinking about what they should do.

Iris stands up and leaves the tent, everyone turns and looks at her, "i'm taking her to Siddiq" she mumbles, Iris walks away and starts preparing a horse and trailer, stopping them in front of the medical tent "I'm taking her back to Alexandria" Iris mumbles not looking back at Rick and Daryl standing behind her, "do you want someone to go with you?" Rick questions, "no. we have too much to do here" Iris mumbles, she turns and looks at the two men.

"She'll be okay" Iris says, forcing a smile, she hugs Rick, holding him tight "she's strong" Rick says "yeah" Iris sighs, pulling away from Rick and wrapping her arms around Daryl, she reluctantly pulls away, stepping back "do you mind helping me put her in the trailer?" Iris asks, Daryl and Rick walk into the tent, stepping out a few minutes later carrying Juniper.

They gently lay her in the back of the trailer and Iris climbs up and sits on the seat at the front of the trailer, she grabs onto the reins before looking back at everyone standing to say goodbye, "wait!" Iris looks over to see Laura jogging over to her "I want to come with. In case you need back up" the blonde says "come on" Iris says, Laura climbs up and sits next to Iris.

"Be safe. Walkie us if anything happens" Rick says, "I will. I'll be back soon" Iris says, smiling back at the group, she clicks her tongue and the horse starts walking, Iris glances back at her sister every few minutes, making sure she is okay.
