Sebastian
She thinks we are tired, but I see how exhausted she is. She is a sprite, but she has never tapped into her sprite powers for so long before.
I follow Dillon into the men's locker room where we grab a quick hot shower, a t-shirt, and some shorts. "We need a plan for tonight."
He perks up and I sigh. "Not sex, pup, sleep. You haven't learned her body signals yet, I have. She's going to come out of the locker room dragging. We need to feed her and then let her sleep."
"She's not sleeping alone," he grumbles.
I nod in agreement, "I know you puppies can't be far from your mate after you mark them. But I'm not sleeping alone either. So, I suggest you find an empty room with a bed big enough for three."
I realize he is far from pleased by my words. However, he has no choice, she belongs to both of us. The adjustment period of this relationship is probably going to end up with one or both of us bleeding. Ahh, the joys of dominance.
"We are going to need ground rules," he tells me.
"The only rules I'm willing to follow are hers, pup."
"Stop calling me that!"
She comes over, dressed in a long shirt, and flops against me, I smirk at him. "Call him by his name, both of you."
I sigh, "You are going to take all the fun out of this, aren't you, princess?"
She shrugs, "Probably. I never could understand men's need for pissing contests. But I'm too tired to listen to you to bicker. So, play nice or sleep alone."
The pup looks terrified but I only smile. "You know you don't want that, princess."
She groans. "Sometimes I hate how well you know me, Sebastian."
I swing her up into my arms. "Do you want food, princess?"
She shakes her head before tucking it into my neck.
I turn to the pup, "You heard her, Dillon. Nite-nite-time."
Jefferson appears with a laugh, "She hated that phrase, Sebastian."
"Because she didn't want to sleep then, she was three. Did they find you a room?"
He nods, "Her father is trying."
I imagine the confusion and horror he must feel at discovering his child has two biological fathers, magically or not. And you aren't the one who got to participate in her life. At least she had Jefferson until he tried to prevent Becca from stealing Nix's powers. It had been done so subtly not even Becca recognize his interference. I noticed. I expected her to kill him, but she missed it, thinking it had been Nix herself. Unfortunately, he had only delayed the showdown.
"The only really evil one in all of this is Becca," I tell Jefferson. "We can start planning her demise tomorrow."
Jefferson smiles at me, his grin lighter than it's been in decades, "I got you a room. Alpha has his doubts about this but knows he can't stop you from trying."
I chuckle. He thinks we'll end up killing each other. Too bad Leo doesn't understand the power of a sprite and the other power I sense inside her, or that we have both fully mated with her.
