Nixie

Before I know it, I'm on the bed. "At least we get to do this on the bed," I say as he drops his shorts.

"I see," he says as he comes down on top of me. "Where did you and the wolf do it?"

"In the bathroom. We never even got out of the bathroom."

Sebastian looks at me and then kisses me, "If we are the sum total of your experience that means in the bathroom, the bedroom, and a pool?"

"Pretty much," I say, "But isn't that where you usually do it? I mean besides the pool."

Sebastian mouth is warm as it lowers to caresses my neck. "Princess, you have no idea. We will be happy to show you...but that is for another day. Right now, you have a needy prince to calm down. You think it was hard to get your wolf calm? Wait till you meet my cat."

"Well, there's no help from Marin's phone. She hasn't used it. But there are several large withdrawals from her private account."

I freeze as a few things from my stay with Alpha Carlos come into sharper focus. "How did he even know I was with Becca? I shouldn't have been here."

"We have a mole," Dillon grits out.

Sebastian looks at him, "He tell you that?"

"He didn't, but it explains how the hunters knew where Nix was. On her end, there isn't a way for anyone to find out, but on our end? We weren't exactly playing it tight to the chest."

"That makes sense, as no one besides Colleen knew I was with Becca. There was only Cara, Colleen, and I when Becca took us."

"Did Cara betray us, again?" Dillon asks.

I think about it for a few moments. "I don't think so. She's never really betrayed me. Colleen convinced her my power was better with them than Becca. Even I agree with her on that one."

"But then who told him?" Sebastian asks.

"And how did he get the hunters there so fast?" Dillon chimes in. "Hunters are usually very careful."

"Even if," I voice my thoughts, letting them just flow. Sometimes this helps me. "Colleen got a wolf to grab me from them, I can't imagine the wolf ratting the pack out to hunters. She said they did it because they didn't want a non-wolf Luna. That doesn't equal selling out the pack to hunters. So, how else could Carlos have known I'd be with Becca? Luck?" Dillon opens his mouth but Sebastian hushes him, familiar with my mouth vomits. "There has to be connection...does the wolf have a hunter girlfriend? Is there more than one mole? Is Colleen mated to a wolf but in denial?" I tip my head back then sigh. "I'm completely out of my element here. You two have any ideas?"

Sebastian smiles at me as Dillon stares in fascination. "We need the wolf who grabbed you," Sebastian says. "We can move on from there. But it starts with that wolf."

"How can we find out which wolf?" Dillon asks. "I will break Carlos eventually but I don't feel like we have time for that. I could Alpha command the pack, force the wolf to give themselves up but we need to be smart about this, not knowing how many wolves are involved."

"We need Cara," I tell them.

"Cara's dead, princess. You know that," Sebastian tells me.

I do, but I know more. "Where's Colleen?"

"Still in holding. Why?" Dillon asks with a frown.

"She has Cara." I shake my head, had it only been two days?

"How?" Dillon's eyes narrow on me.

"Don't ask," I mutter. "But I need to go see if she will live up to her promise. I might need you to bring me some stuff."
