After we decide on the plan, I go find Shay. If I want her to be my Beta, I need to treat her like one. "Come on Shay."

She follows me to my new office. So far, it has a desk and three chairs. As to not make this a power trip, I sit on one of the chairs not behind the desk and motion for her to take the other. "To start, I'm not a wolf/witch hybrid. I'm a Sprite/Wolf hybrid."

She smiles at me and confesses, "Yeah, Dillon told me but told me not to say anything til you told me. Only, I saw you in the lake. The water caught you when you jumped in. I knew you were different then."

I roll my eyes at her. "I knew you were good with secrets. Only now, as my Beta, no more secrets from me, ok?"

"Ok, except presents and surprise parties."

"Fine, but not about important things, like knowing I'm not human."

She gives me a stare.

"What?" I ask when she doesn't say anything.

"I'm waiting for you to tell me the rest of your secrets."

"All of them? We don't have enough time." I can't even begin to share all my secrets. Sebastian only knows about half of them, as he never went out of the house with me. Lots of things I never shared in our therapy sessions, things I would never repeat out loud.

She scoffs but then asks, "Who marked you?"

"Dillon...and Sebastian."

"They BOTH marked you?"

"Yes." I pull my shirt open, exposing the marks on both sides of my neck.

"How can you have more than one mate?"

I sigh. "I have no idea. But they both are."

"You let Dillon mark you without your wolf? He can get in a lot of trouble for that."

"Lorelei said it was ok." I laugh. "Actually, it was her idea in the first place. They just wanted to mate with me."

"Both of them, like together?"

I sigh, again. "I am not going to give you a blow by blow, Shay. But, yes, both of them."

"Together?"

"Yes."

"Did it hurt?"

I smile and shake my head. "It very much did not hurt." As much as I want to be honest with Shay, I am not explaining our mating orgy. I didn't even think I could say a quarter of what we did without passing out in embarrassment, so I move the conversation on to more pressing and less personal matters. "But right now, we need to talk about fixing this with Alpha."

"How? He's going to be pissed."

"He already knows," I tell her. "And, he was mad, but not irate. I can make it better, that's why I needed to talk to Jefferson. Now I need to talk to you. Will you help, Beta Shay?"

"Do I get to come?" she counters.

I nod. "Yes. You are my Beta. I need to include you. Sometimes I won't be able to, but I will do my best to include you whenever I can."

I pick Alpha's office, as it is the biggest one and gather Alpha, Luna, my dad, my mates, Oliver, and Jefferson. Then, I decide to add Kyle since I'm bringing Shay. They are going to be our Betas, so they deserve to be in the loop.
