"We need to go somewhere, Nix," Sebastian gets my attention after breakfast as we are all working in Dillon's office. Dillon and Sebastian have tasks to accomplish today, and I have more studying to do for Luna training.

"I get to leave?" My eyes snap from the book in my lap to gaze in complete surprise at Sebastian. "Go outside?"

"Are you wilting?" he asks, clearly concerned, coming over to sit beside me on the couch from the table where they were working, lifting my chin with his fingers and examining my face.

"Wilting?" I ask.

"You are a sprite, princess. You need nature, to be connected to nature."

He's right, I realize in surprise. I find nature my most soothing place. "I'm okay, Sebastian. But I do miss outside. But is a trip right now wise?"

Dillon chuckles and comes over to join us, "My sweet Luna."

Sebastian grabs a pillow from the couch and lobs it at Dillon's head. "We aren't traveling that way, princess. Rebecca is coming to get us."

"All of us?"

Batting aside the pillow, Dillon pulls me onto his lap and kisses his mark. "I can't leave right now sprite. Your mother might try something. I need eyes here."

"And he can let us know if we need to get back ASAP."

I nod in agreement even as I wince in my head. "OK," I agree and kiss Dillon hard.

"Not fair, Sprite," he grumbles.

"Huh? Did you want me to shake your hand?"

"Probably lower," Sebastian gloats.

"Oh! When is Rebecca coming?"

Just then Rebecca appears.

"Now," my mates say together with completely different intonations.

"You owe me," Dillon whispers in my ear before kissing it. Then he turns to Sebastian. "Keep her safe."

"Always."

"Are you ready?" Rebecca asks, clearly excited.

"I guess," I tell her. I have no idea what to expect. She grabs my hand and Sebastian's, then he grabs mine and our little circle...moves. When my eyes clear, everything went fuzzy like an old school movie fade, we're in a room, a beautiful room, right out of the historical epics I love to watch. "Where are we?"

"The Queen's castle," Rebecca explains.

"I came to meet your mother?" I look at Sebastian then down to my clothes. I'm dressed in a pair of trousers and blouse but not something to meet a Queen in, I wouldn't think.

Just then two pages, I guess that's what they are, they're two small boys in the most beautiful velvet shirts. They look like something right out of one of my fairytales, appear and say together, "We have come to bring you to the queen." Then look at Sebastian, "Hello Uncle."

Sebastian just growls. "Good God which ones are you? This proves he never could keep it in his pants. Are you 4 and 5?"

"No, 9 and 10, but we have two younger siblings."

"You have numbers?" I ask in dismay.

"No," the older one tells me. "We have names."

"And they are?"

"I'm Tynan and he's Ronan."

"I'm Nix. Nice to meet you."

"We didn't come here to meet with my mother," Sebastian tells me and looks at the boys. "So, go away."
