Tetsuya woke up with his body relaxed. He could almost say that it was the first time he'd ever slept so comfortably.
He knew he had the longest sleep ever when he checked the clock and it was almost noon. He slept around 8 in the evening yesterday and woke up around 11 am.
That's 15 hours of sleep.
He couldn't find the strength to move, his body is too heavy and comfortable. He turned to the other side and pulled the covers over him.
He gotta admit that this is the most comfortable bed he has ever slept on, more than the one in the inn.
Tetsuya closes his eyes, planning to return to sleep. What did he do yesterday anyway? He remembers napping and waking up to eat and sleep again.
He also delivered a letter to Takao because he received his and his coven's letter.
....
Tetsuya jolts up, he shouldn't sleep for the whole day–because today's the day he can finally go out and work.
Dragging himself, he fixes his beddings and makes a good stretch.
Well he still has hours left before he goes.
He goes to the bathroom to start his routine. The room has a bathroom connected, Tetsuya guesses all of the room here has.
Where'd they get all this wealth?
It was quiet, downstairs there's no one. Well he should've expected that, given how it's noon, and already lunch time.
Hungry, he brought himself into the kitchen. The coven somehow had given him not only the freedom to do things on his own, but also freedom to do anything he wants in the house.
The only prohibited areas are their rooms.
Other than that, he's free to go and do anything he wants.
Which means he can set this house on fire anytime he wants to. But since he's a nice person, he won't do it. (Also because he won't have anywhere to stay.)
Unfortunately for his hungry stomach, there's no meal ready in the kitchen. And to make it worse, he doesn't know how to cook.
He opens the refrigerator to search for some eggs since he knows how to make hard-boiled eggs. Now having luck in finding eggs, he set three eggs into the pot and boiled it with water.
He decides to toast bread while waiting.
Now this isn't considered as lunch but it's brunch for Tetsuya so who cares.
He relishes the silence in the house. He's alone and they're out. Kuroko couldn't ask for any better. At least being alone means he can stop hiding his mana once in a while.
The coven doesn't care about him that much to ask about his witchcraft.
But it's unusual for his natural energy to stay calm even through his pain. He's lucky that the others didn't question it even though it's very strange.
Speaking of, his mana seems so easy to control now. Tetsuya thought that his mana was still weak during his recovering days, as to why even with no effort in hiding, no one can sense his mana.
Now that he has recovered, it's still the same. Tetsuya almost forgot about his mana until now, his mana is acting strangely.
He doesn't know if it's because he kept on hiding it that it became a 2nd nature to him or if it's because his emotions are actually controlled now?
Or is it because of the soulmark?
Tetsuya subconsciously rubbed his right wrist where two thin black lines are marked. It's from the contractual vow they made.
