Tetsuya didn't know he woke up too early today. But he was aware of his unusual motivation to rise. Usually he'd go slack off his day-off but surprise surprise, he's now doing his routine.
He's unsure whether he liked it or not.
A soft knock was heard whilst he threw a shirt on.
Well that's new.
Tetsuya never expected a visit today.
He opened the door only to reveal "Kise-kun?" He started, confused about the new approach—but the model seemed more surprised than he was.
Tetsuya tilted his head at him, "Did you mistake my room with the others?" the model immediately snapped out and shook his head. "Ah no, I really was knocking on purpose."
"I just didn't expect you to open so fast." so he thought Tetsuya was still asleep. No wonder the knock sounded uncertain.
Was it really that early?
"Well anyways," The crystal witch cleared his throat, "I wanted to ask if you'd join us for breakfast since you're awake now."
Tetsuya halted. Did he hear that right? Kise's actually asking him to join them?
He recalled his and Murasakibara's conversation. Right, did the practical witch put the blonde up on this?
Kise, who sensed his hesitation, waved his hand reassuringly. "Hey it's fine, really! Murasakibaracchi is the one who suggested it and none of us really mind!"
The "none of us really mind!" part echoed through his head.
Tetsuya would let himself indulge just this once.
"Alright."
And Kise lets himself admit that he's glad—because there was nothing to fear about eating together with him this time.
He'd never forget how his lovers just shrugged or nodded when Atsushi casually suggested for Kuroko to join them.
Not all things can break them apart, they've finally realized.
"I'm glad Kurokocchi didn't refuse." He hummed, placing his hands behind him as they walked side by side.
But the nickname caught Kuroko's attention, "Kurokocchi??"
"Sorry, I tend to add suffixes after the names of the people I respect." And 'Kurokocchi' somehow rolls off nicely.
Kuroko only blinked at him, "I don't remember doing anything that deserved your respect."
He gave a half shrug, "You did a lot, you even took care of Midorimacchi and Murasakibaracchi like I asked."
"I just helped Murasakibara-kun?"
Ryouta smiled, "Same thing."
As they strolled down the stairs, they could already hear the radio from the living room and the loud chattering from the kitchen.
Tetsuya examined the whole room. On his right side, from the living room, there was Midorima who listened to the radio, something about astrology. While on the left side there was Kagami who was cooking and Murasakibara who's checking the fridge.
Then there's Aomine who's....
"Aominecchi you spilled the juice again?!"
There's the storm witch who was cleaning up the spilled juice on the table. Kise ran to him to scold him for spilling his favorite juice.
"Mine-chin's an idiot," remarked Murasakibara.
"Hey It's not my fault!! Besides, who even drinks juice in the morning?"
