Two days left until Ryouta goes back to the main city.
He sighs. This week felt like a blur to him, barely having a moment to appreciate the days.
The blonde stands in front of a large oak door. Like his usual days, he was alone due to their schedules. Only Taiga, Atsushi, and Daiki received their winter breaks while the rest are working, he will be included in the next few days.
Ryouta would spend it with them if only he didn't have plans today.
Which is to bother a lovely doctor of his.
Entering the town's hospital, he was greeted by the workers as he passed down the corridor, known for being affiliated with their top doctor. The hospital isn't that big since it's in a town but that doubles the amount of warmth radiating from inside out. While hospitals in big cities are getting modernized by painting the walls white, small hospitals such as this are filled with brown hints that show what this hospital is built of.
This hospital is admittedly old but well-maintained considering it's his boyfriend who's in charge of the establishment. He makes sure the hospital is clean, no defects within the establishment itself and the medical supplies are always new and stacked.
When they first went to the town, the hospital's condition wasn't even like this. It was ruined, the woods seemed to break at any moment, no one could properly work and stay here. Moreover there weren't even lights, they had to use a few sticks of candles as the source of light.
It was then Shintarou decided to fix the hospital as soon as they deemed the town to be the perfect place to live in. They supported him of course, they helped with the reconstruction and Shintarou initially planned to buy the land and the establishment to get better connections with the supplies but the town people are kind enough to give it to him as a token of gratitude.
Ryouta peeks at the windows of Shintarou's office, only to find it open. Usually they're covered whenever there's a patient but since there's none, Ryouta could just go inside without a problem.
He enters the room with hushed steps, eventually getting caught by the green haired doctor who looks at him.
"Hello Tarou-cchi" Ryouta smiles. He would've jumped on the male if only they're not in a public place. Everyone knows they're boyfriends, but he knows how much the doctor values his professionalism more than anything.
Shintarou responds with a raised brow, "What are you doing here?"
"Can't I just visit my lovely boyfriend?"
He stares at him with doubt, "What are you planning?"
"To drag my lover out of this boring room and finally go out on a date with him because we haven't been able to ever since I got home??" He grumbles.
Shintarou leans his head on his chair, as much as he wants to...
"I'm still working, idiot."
"I talked to Ms. Astel to give you an early out."
"?? I'm the one in charge?"
"Alright, I'll bring Ms. Astel here then–"
"DO NOT–" Shintarou groans, "do that. I'll go."
"You just can't say no when it's Ms. Astel. You're too soft, doc." He teases as the hedge witch rolls his eyes.
"Go out and wait for a bit, I'll wrap up."
"Alrighty doc! Please don't be slow!" The crystal witch grins before complying.
Shintarou silently curses the blonde for being too unbearable and himself for giving in.
