The room that had once felt suffocating now seemed quieter, almost still, as Sandro sat alone, lost in his thoughts. Days, maybe even weeks, had passed since he'd been taken, and the weight of isolation was finally settling in. He could no longer deny it: this wasn't just a physical prison—it was a mental one as well. As much as he tried to fight it, his thoughts kept circling back to Bella and everything she had done for him... or to him.

For the first time in his life, Sandro felt truly vulnerable. The carefully constructed image he had built over the years—the successful congressman, the untouchable figure—was unraveling. And here, in this silent, dimly lit room, he was left with nothing but his own thoughts and the crushing reality of the choices he had made.

Sandro leaned back against the wall, staring at the ceiling. The faces of the people in his life flashed through his mind—his friends, colleagues, and supporters. Had they all seen what Bella had seen in him? Had they all believed in the image he had presented, the charismatic politician who always seemed to have everything under control?

He wondered now if that had ever been true.

There had been moments—brief, fleeting moments—where he had questioned the path he was on, but he had pushed those doubts aside, too focused on his ambitions to let anything slow him down. He had told himself that his success, his rise to power, was worth whatever sacrifices he had to make. But here, in this cold, empty room, all of those sacrifices seemed hollow.

Bella's notes, twisted as they were, had forced him to confront the reality of his own life. She had seen through him, in ways that no one else had. While Sandro had dismissed her, she had been watching, supporting, and manipulating everything from the shadows. And now, he couldn't help but wonder if Bella had been right all along—maybe he had been chasing the wrong things.

Had he ever truly cared about anyone? Or had it all been about the power, the image, the idea of being loved by the public?

Sandro closed his eyes, letting the silence envelop him. Bella's obsession had been growing for years, unnoticed by him, and now, here he was—trapped because he had failed to see what had been right in front of him. But it wasn't just Bella he had ignored. There were others, people who had supported him, people who had believed in him, and he had treated them all the same way—with polite indifference.

What had he been chasing all these years? Power? Influence? The admiration of strangers?

His success had always come at a price, and now, sitting alone in captivity, Sandro was starting to realize just how steep that price had been. He had pushed people away, neglected relationships, and sacrificed any real emotional connection for the sake of his career. But what good was a career if it left him alone, vulnerable, and at the mercy of someone else's obsession?

For the first time in a long time, Sandro wasn't sure of himself. He wasn't sure of anything.

Sandro ran his hands through his hair, frustration bubbling up inside him. His entire life had been about maintaining control—control over his image, his career, his future. But here, he had none. Bella controlled everything now—his life, his freedom, even his thoughts. And yet, in the middle of all this chaos, Sandro couldn't help but feel a strange sense of regret—not just for the situation he was in, but for the way he had lived his life up until now.

He had taken so much for granted. The people who had supported him, the opportunities that had come his way—he had assumed they would always be there, that he would always be in control. But he had been wrong. Bella's obsession had shattered that illusion, and now, Sandro was left questioning everything.

What would he do differently if he ever got out of here? Would he go back to the same life, the same endless pursuit of power and recognition? Or would he try to change, to find something more meaningful, more real?

Sandro didn't have the answers, but for the first time, he was asking the questions.

As Sandro sat there, lost in his thoughts, a new kind of fear began to creep in. It wasn't the fear of captivity, or even the fear of Bella's obsession—it was the fear of facing himself, of confronting the man he had become. He had spent so long avoiding any real emotional vulnerability, hiding behind his public persona, that he had forgotten what it meant to be truly open, to be truly human.

Now, stripped of everything that had once defined him, Sandro felt exposed in a way he never had before. The walls of his emotional fortress were crumbling, and he didn't know how to rebuild them.

Bella's twisted love had forced him to confront parts of himself that he had long buried—his insecurities, his regrets, his failures. And though he hated to admit it, there was something terrifyingly freeing about that. For the first time in his life, Sandro wasn't pretending. He wasn't putting on a show for the public, or playing the role of the confident, untouchable politician.

Here, in this room, he was just Sandro—a man who had made mistakes, a man who was vulnerable, a man who was questioning everything.

Sandro knew that his captivity wouldn't last forever. At some point, something would have to give. Either Bella would reveal herself, or he would find a way to escape. But even if he did get out, what kind of life would he return to? Would he be able to go back to the same ambitions, the same endless chase for power? Or would this experience change him in ways he couldn't yet understand?

Sandro wasn't sure, but for the first time, he wasn't afraid to ask those questions. Bella's obsession had forced him to confront his own vulnerabilities, and though it terrified him, it also gave him a strange sense of clarity. He couldn't keep running from himself, from the choices he had made.

If he ever got out of here, things would have to change. He would have to change.

But for now, all he could do was wait—and reflect on the man he had become, and the man he hoped to be.
