Beomgyu stayed by his grandmother's side. He had eventually fallen asleep, it was almost two a.m. Yeonjun held his hand as he slept and stared at his grandma, he couldn't imagine how this must've felt but he imagined himself in his shoes. His heart broke for him.
Beomgyu's father walked in and looked at them. Yeonjun tried not to make eye contact.
"You must be Beomgyu's new friend. Yeonjun, isn't it?"
He swallowed and nodded. "Yes sir."
"My son speaks highly of you." He sat next to him. "Thank you for being here for him."
"It's nothing sir."
He hummed and looked at the woman.
"She's a lot closer to him than we are and I can't blame anyone but myself. Of course, I am worried for her health but I'm also worried for my son's health. He's been bullied since he was a kid, he's pretty like his mother. He's come a long way...keep him in your sight. I'm counting on you, I can tell he trusts you more than he trusts me."
"Whatever you need sir."
"Thank you." He reached in his pocket and handed him his card. "My number, if you need anything let me know."
"Thank you sir."
He hummed and stood up. Yeonjun stared at the business card and tucked it into his pocket.
"It's getting late. My driver will take you two home. If you have nothing to do tomorrow morning you are welcomed to sleep over. I think he would like that." He looked at Beomgyu who was still sound asleep in the chair.
"I don't mind at all sir thank you."
He carried Beomgyu out of the room not wanting to wake him. He sat him in the car and they rode to his house. It was beautiful and huge, bigger than his penthouse that was for sure. He carried him inside and he followed the butler to Beomgyu's room.
"I will change him into his nightwear. You may change in the bathroom." He said.
"Okay." He went into the bathroom and saw the spare clothes on the sink. He changed and when he came out he saw them.
The scars right before the butler pulled the rest of his shirt down.
"How did he get those?"
"Not my business to tell." He spoke. "There's a spare room down the hall that you can–"
"I'll stay with him thank you."
"Very well." He bowed and left the room closing the door.
Yeonjun moved the blanket a little and looked at his arm. He always wore long sleeve shirts and now he could see why. He had a few scars on his wrists.
Beomgyu stirred in his sleep a little and rolled onto his side, his hair falling into his face as he did so. Yeonjun laid next to him and stared at him, studying his face in the barely lit room. He reached over and bruised his hair to the side.
His dried tear stains made him look vulnerable and sad. He wished there was something he could do for him; but all he could do was hold him as he slept.
When Beomgyu woke up, he groaned a little and he bared his face into the warm thing he was laying against. When he realized that this thing was moving a little he jolted and sat up suddenly.
His eyes widened as he took note of their current position. He was straddling Yeonjun, he was on top of Yeonjun...
HE WAS ON TOP OF YEONJUN.
Yeonjun groaned a little and moved his hips as he tried to get comfortable but then he realized that something was on him. His eyes opened and they were both staring at each other. Beomgyu suddenly leaped off of him and practically ran into the bathroom while yelling several apologies before slamming the door.
Yeonjun who was just starting to fully awake just sat up and stared at the bathroom door. He looked down at his lap to see the tent in his pants.
"Shit!" He jumped up and started looking around. "This is normal, it happens all the time. This has nothing to do with Beomgyu because I'm not gay!" He said to himself as he tried to figure out how to get rid of it. "I'm not gay! I can just think about Beomgyu and I'll go soft." He started thinking and oddly it wasn't going away. "What the fu–"
"Yeonjun!"
"Aah! I mean yeah what's up?"
"Can you stand outside for a second?"
"Oh...sure." He stepped out and used his hands to cover himself. The situation was so awkward he eventually went soft while standing outside his room. Beomgyu opened the door and Yeonjun looked at him.
He had messy bed hair and yet still looked cute.
"I'm sorry about...I just woke up and I didn't even know you'd be in here what are you doing in my house!"
"Your dad invited me." Beomgyu slapped his forehead. "Look, it's fine. Accidents happen, it was kinda funny too."
Beomgyu looked at him and laughed a little. "You're right." He was worried for nothing and Yeonjun didn't seem upset at all. "Want breakfast?"
"I'd love some."
They went downstairs and Beomgyu's parents were having coffee together.
"Mom, dad, morning. This is Uhh..."
"Yeonjun." His mother said as she stood with a smile. She was beautiful, extremely beautiful. Yeonjun understood where he got his looks from. "Beomgyu has told us so much about you?"
"He talks about me?"
"Okay mom dad can we have privacy please!"
"Oh of course, your father and I will sit in the garden. Come on dear." She held his arm as they walked past Yeonjun, he bowed to them and they both returned his bow as they left the room.
"What do you want to eat?"
"You talk about me."
Beomgyu turned red and didn't look at him.
"Not what I asked."
Yeonjun walked over to him as he stood by the stove. He put his arms on either side of him as he lead over his shoulder. Beomgyu completely froze up.
"Waffles." He answered.
"S-Sure...back off so I can cook." He broke out of his arm cage and went to make the batter
"Yes chef."
