Yeonjun met with his father for breakfast. They sat silently as his mother finally sat down to join them.

"What is it you—"

Yeonjun interrupted his father. "I'm your only child and for years I always thought you only had me because you only needed one kid to take advantage of. With two you're equally matched and with three you're outnumbered, so you had me and you broke me so I couldn't fight you and it worked." Silent tears rolled down his cheek as he looked at the two of them. "I am completely broken and I didn't realize it until after I met Beomgyu. He's brought so much light to my life and I want to be a better person for him and I can't do that while being stuck living with you."

He stood up and wiped his face. "I will get you this contract with his parents only if you promise me that you won't do anything that will bring harm to them. Otherwise I will go and tell him everything that you wanted from me. I need your word."

His parents exchanged looks. "You have our word." His father said.

He took out a piece of paper and pen. "You should know that your word means absolutely nothing to me." He sat the paper in front of them. "Sign it."

"At least you learned something from us." His father said as he signed it and his mother silently did the same thing. "There."

Yeonjun took the paper and left the room. He put the paper in a safe in his room and looked at himself in the mirror. He felt different and he wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing. He texted Beomgyu and told him he was picking him up at 7pm and to be ready. Beomgyu texted with an excited emoji which brought a smile to his face. He stayed in his room, thinking about what to say to him and thinking about how he was going to say it but in the end, hours had passed and he still had nothing.

He got cleaned up and drove over to see Beomgyu. He texted him and he came outside looking beautiful like he normally did. He hugged Yeonjun tightly and told him how excited he was for their evening out and Yeonjun soon forgot how scared he was. Beomgyu had that effect on him.

He drove them to dinner where Beomgyu talked about his day and how school was getting better and the things he wanted to draw in his sketchbook. The books he was reading, the shows he was watching, and Yeonjun could fall asleep to the soothing sound of his voice. He loved hearing him talk and seeing how comfortable he was around him.

He adored Beomgyu.

After dinner he took a detour to Yanghwa Bridge where they inhaled deeply as the crisp, cool air kissed their skin. Beomgyu admired the lights as he rested his head on Yeonjun's shoulder.

"I had so much fun tonight."

"Me too." He held his hand, slowly interlocking their fingers. "I...I need to tell you something."

Beomgyu hummed and looked at him. "Yes hyung?"

Yeonjun looked at him and then the nervousness hit him all at once that he couldn't threw up and Beomgyu noticed.

"You look...kinda pale are you feeling okay? Should we head back?"

"No no, no I'm good." He left out a nervous chuckle. "Just...hot. It's hot today."

"It's...cold."

"Yeah but—" he cut himself off and shook his head. "I need to tell you something and I...I'm still not sure how to say this."

"Just say it, it's okay."

"Right right of course except it's not because I haven't felt this way before and I don't want to sound like an idiot."

Beomgyu's eyebrows furrowed. "Did something bad happen?"

"No no." He cursed under his breath. "It's crazy how easy it was for me to talk to you and now I can't even form a proper coherent sentence without blabbering off about nonsense!"

Beomgyu giggled a little and nodded. "Okay okay wanna know something that helped me as a kid?"

"What?"

"Close your eyes." Yeonjun did so and Beomgyu held his hands. "I used to do this with my nana whenever I made mistakes. This way she could prepare herself without me seeing, but I knew she was still there and listening because we were holding hands, and when I opened my eyes she always smiled at me. It helps a lot with the fear of talking and waiting for a reaction. Go ahead, I'm here."

Yeonjun took a deep breath and kept his eyes closed. "Beomgyu I...I have feelings for you." He heard a soft gasp and his heart skipped. "That–that sound you made isn't helping!"

"I-I I'm sorry please continue."

"...I don't know what to say or how to say it but I do know that I absolutely love being with you and spending time with you and you...I just like you so much Beomgyu. That's all I can say, is I really, really like you." He didn't hear anything but could still feel his hands. "I'm...I'm gonna open my eyes."

He took a deep breath and opened them. He saw Beomgyu in all his beauty, with a flushed face, and a weak smile as he tried to hold back his cries but he couldn't.

"I'm so so happy." He cried.

Yeonjun melted and hugged him tightly, holding the back of his head with his hand and the other snaked around his waist. Beomgyu cried against his shoulder, all his doubts were just that because Yeonjun felt the same way. He trembled in his arms and he held him even tighter.

"Don't cry." He looked at him and wiped his tears away. "You feel the same way, yes?"

"Yes!" He laughed as he sniffled. "Of course I do."

"Beomgyu...can I kiss you?"

Beomgyu slowly nodded and Yeonjun gently cupped his face and kissed him. Pressing their lips gently together, Yeonjun was sure that he could hear his heart thumping against his chest. Their lips moved gently together and he didn't want to stop. To keep kissing like this forever was a dream. He smiled against his lips as they laughed a little.

Yeonjun took him home and they sat outside in-front of his house.

"What...does this mean?"

"I hope it means you're mine."

"I think I've always been yours."

"Now it's official." He kissed his hand. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"...come sleep with me."

"Okay." He practically jumped out of the car and pulled Beomgyu upstairs.

They got to his room and Beomgyu closed the door and grabbed a spare pair of pajamas. Yeonjun started to take off his shirt and Beomgyu squealed and covered his eyes.

"Oh, sorry." Then he paused. "Wait, you're my boyfriend now so can't I change in front of you?"
Beomgyu peaked behind his fingers. "If this is too much right now I can just..."

"No wait!" He bit his bottom lip. "It's...it's fine."

"Don't be shy. I'm okay being vulnerable like this in front of you, be comfortable with me."

He silently nodded and let Yeonjun change as he grabbed himself some pajamas. He went into the bathroom to change, taking off his long sleeve shirt and looking at the faded scars on his arms. He stared at them and sighed before slipping his shirt on.

Who could love a body like this? Is what he thought and he wasn't ready to show Yeonjun any time soon. He came out of the bathroom and Yeonjun was sitting on the bed waiting for him. He laid down first as Beomgyu turned the lights off and laid down next to him. Yeonjun wrapped his arms around him, Beomgyu snuggled up against him, inhaling deeply and falling asleep almost immediately.

Yeonjun laid awake for a little bit, running his fingers through Beomgyu's hair. This felt different than it did with Yeji, he felt really warm and he liked it a lot.
