Beomgyu and Yeonjun sat in the car together as Yeonjun drove them to tour the house they found.
"I'm so nervous," Beomgyu said as he fidgeted with his fingers. "Gosh I'm so excited. A house aahh!"
Yeonjun laughed and held his hand. "You could barely sleep last night."
"I've dreamt of this moment!"
Yeonjun couldn't return to Japan with his aunt. Not when his life was in Korea. His aunt mailed his stuff back to him and he stayed with his grandma while he got his life back together. Him and Beomgyu would meet up to look online and save places they liked. They discussed what they were looking for, location for commute times and everything and they finally found the perfect house.
"...what if something goes wrong?" Beomgyu exclaimed. "We've been searching for a place for months and now that we're so close I just can't believe it. There's no way this is finally happening, it's too good to be true!"
"Don't worry," Yeonjun said with a chuckle. "Everything will be okay."
"I sure hope so."
They saw the house and it was simply perfect. Beomgyu fell in love, it had a warmth to it that reminded him of his nana's house.
"Oh baby this is perfect!" Beomgyu exclaimed. "It's small and perfect and...and it feels so—" he inhaled deeply. "Aah! I think this is it!" He hugged him. "I love it!"
Yeonjun chuckled and pecked his cheek. "I'm glad."
"Ahem." They looked at the older woman who was the real estate agent showing them the house. She was giving them an off look, she stood with her body turned away from them. "I'm sorry, but I'm gonna ask you two to leave."
They looked at each other then her. "Why?" Yeonjun asked.
"I don't sell houses to..." her voice faded as she gestured to them. "Your kind."
"Our kind?" He asked with a tone.
"Why do you even need a home this beautiful? You can't have kids and raise a family in it. It would be a complete waste to a couple who can have children and live happily here. So I'm not selling the house to you."
"You...you can't do that!" Yeonjun exclaimed. "That's not right."
"I can reject service from anyone I choose. Read our policy."
"But that's—"
"Hyung," Beomgyu grabbed his arm and Yeonjun looked back at him. "It's okay." Clear tears in his eyes. "I don't want to give her our money anyways, we will find another place." He tugged on his arm. "Please, let's leave."
Yeonjun withheld what he wanted to say, he held his hand and they left without giving her another word. They got back to the car and Beomgyu broke down in tears.
"Baby if we would've told her who your father was she would've given us the house."
"I wanted to get this on my own!" He exclaimed. "Together! Without me needing my parents and now look? That stupid witch didn't even give us another chance. There were no other houses like that one Yeonjun this one was perfect!"
Yeonjun wiped his tears away but they kept coming. "I'm sorry Beomgyu."'
"...I just want to go home."
Yeonjun drove him back to his parents house. He walked him inside and his parents came to greet them.
"How did it go?" Beoha asked but saw her son's tear stained face. "What happened?"
