"What the hell are you talking about?"

Taehyun couldn't even say anything as he broke down in his room and cried. Yeonjun slowly climbed out of bed and walked over to him, he wrapped his arms around him and Taehyun held him tightly. It was quiet for a while, all they could hear was him sniffling as he hugged him.

"Beomgyu left me." Yeonjun muttered to him.

Taehyun rubbed his back. "I'm sorry."

"No...no it's all my fault." He pulled away from him and walked back to his bed and sat down. Silent tears fell from his eyes as he stared at the floor. "My parents got what they wanted at the cost of me and him...you all were right I should've just told him but I was so scared. And now...he...he—" his bottom lip trembled and he covered his face as he started to cry again.

Taehyun sat next to him quietly and let him get it out. He wiped his own face and stared down at the floor.

"When Hueningkai found out that I knew he was angry. He thought I was apart of it and said I was just as bad as you for not telling him so he broke up with me. I tried calling him but he won't pick up. I was so angry with you because I knew if you would just say it I wouldn't have to be the one to hurt anyone the way I knew I would if I spoke up. I don't blame you for not telling him, you didn't want him to get hurt but we are both to blame. It was a bad idea from the start."

Yeonjun didn't say anything and only nodded.

"Can I stay at your place? I can't stand to be here."

"Sure."

He packed a smaller suitcase and left with Taehyun. They didn't speak to each other for the rest of the day and both of them spent the majority of their time in their room. When Yeonjun did eventually come out he saw Taehyun sitting at the table in the kitchen writing something.

"What are you doing?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"I'm writing Hueningkai a letter because he doesn't answer my text messages."

Yeonjun sat with him. "Can I have a piece of paper?"

Taehyun slid an extra sheet to him and a pencil. They sat there writing in silence and when they finished, they dropped them off in a mail drop off box nearby.

...

Beomgyu laid in bed. His room was a mess, pieces of ripped paper were scattered on his floor along with books and pencils that he had thrown off his desk. His chair was toppled over as well and it had been that way for a few days. He stared straight ahead at his wall while he hugged his pillow. He heard a gentle knock on his door and Ms. Ahn slowly walked in.

"I brought you some soup." She said as she walked over. She sat the small tray down on his nightstand and looked around his room. "I can clean up for you."

Beomgyu hugged his pillow tighter. "...please leave." He whispered.

"As you wish." She quietly left and closed the door.

"How is he?" Beoha asked, standing a little ways from the door. Ms. Ahn simply shook her head. "...I'll talk to him."

Beoha knocked and then walked in. She closed the door and stepped over the objects on the floor before sitting on the foot of his bed.

"Beomgyu, honey I am so sorry you are heartbroken right now and I wish I could do something to take this pain away." She said and she looked at him but he didn't say anything or move. "...I'm gonna tell you a story."

She stood up and picked up his chair and sat down. "When I was about your age I kept to myself and I had guys come up to me but your grandfather gave me that boy talk so many times I didn't even spare anyone a glance. Until I met this guy in university who tried again and again and again, at first I was annoyed but I don't know...one day we just talked. I was having a bad day and didn't have anyone I felt I could go to so I went to him. After that we would text, call, hang out and I started to really like him but then...one day he just stopped talking to me. He avoided me and then sent me a text saying he wanted absolutely nothing to do with me."

At this point in the story, Beomgyu had rolled over so he could look at her.

"Why did he do that?"

"Apparently his parents didn't think I was good enough for their son and ordered him to stay away or they would cut him off."

"So what happened?"

"I was hurt, he didn't tell me why for a while but a few weeks had passed and he showed up to my house. Begged me for forgiveness, told me he didn't care about what his parents thought of me, and was okay with being cut off and on his own. Said he would finish school and figure it all out."

"You forgave him?"

"I was in love with him. I saw something he didn't even see in himself. People saw him as a goofball who wouldn't graduate but I knew the real him."

"So what happened between you two?"

She gave him a soft smile and stood up. "I married him." She walked over to him. "You're upset and I don't know what's going on but I do know that, that boy despite what he might've done...he loves you Beomgyu. Don't let him off easy but don't dismiss him too quickly." She bent down and kissed his head. "Eat, you need your strength." She quietly left his room and closed the door.

Beomgyu continued to lay there and he soon fell asleep.
