After spending time with Beomgyu, Yeonjun went home and got ready for his party at the club with his other friends. He wore a white button down and rolled up his sleeves, he looked at his watch and couldn't help but smile at it. It looked nice. He fixed his collar and undid a few buttons on his shirt, he combed his hair back and grabbed his jacket before heading out. He met them there and when he walked in and saw the balloons he laughed a little.

"There's the birthday boy!" Wooyoung cheered and Taehyun popped a bottle of champagne.

He walked over and his friends hugged him as they cheered. Yeji walked over and kissed him. They took shots, danced to music and had an overall great night together.

"I feel like I haven't seen you at all. You didn't forget about me did you?" Yeji yelled over the music as they danced together.

"How could I forget about my girl?" He asked as he spun her around and pulled her back in.

"I'm your girl now?" She teased.

"You've always been my girl." He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and let his hand trail down the side of her face and jawline settling on her chin as he tilted her head up. He pressed their lips together and they smiled against each other's lips.

She pulled away from him looking up into his eyes. "You look lively tonight. I guess that means you have energy for the after party?" A clear underlining tone in her voice.

He bit his lip. "I always have energy. I can't wait."

Taehyun walked over and tapped his shoulder. "Can I borrow you for a minute?" Yeonjun looked at Yeji and she nodded and waved the two of them off. "Things going well?" He asked.

"Yeah I'd like to think so." They sat down together and Taehyun poured him a drink. "Why do you ask?"

"You've been spending a lot of time with Beomgyu. Things must be going well then."

"Yeah they are. We are going on a train next week he wanted to visit a nature trail."

Taehyun hummed and sipped his drink a little. "...don't fall for him."

Yeonjun looked over at him. "What did you say?" He asked loudly over the music.

He sighed and shook his head. "Nothing hyung, just be careful. You're playing a dangerous game y'know and I don't want to see anyone get hurt."

Yeonjun looked at his drink as he twirled it around in his glass. "I'm just doing enough to get my parents in and that's it."

"Will you tell him what you did when this is all said and done?"

"I didn't do anything." He sat up. "But since you are so concerned about it yes I will and it will be fine because he will understand and it won't even matter in the end because we're friends."

"How can you call what you have a friendship if you're lying about–"

"Okay Taehyun what the fuck?" He snapped at him. "It's my birthday and I just realized I don't want to talk about this with you at all." He stood up and walked away to rejoin Yeji."

Taehyun sighed and got a text message. He looked at it and it was a text from Hueningkia, he smiled at it and then sat on his phone texting him for the rest of the night. After the party, Yeonjun took his gifts and thanked everyone for the fun night. He held Yeji's hand as they walked to his car and went to a nearby hotel for the night. After they were finished they laid in bed together with the tv on watching a movie.

Yeji played with the chain around his neck.

"When did you get this?" She asked.

"Beomgyu got it for me along with my watch." He said gesturing to the watch on the nightstand next to the bed. "Nice isn't it?"

She hummed and didn't say anything for a few seconds. "How's that going? You haven't said much about it."

"Yeah it's going fine." He answered bluntly. She sat up and glared at him. He looked at her and held his hands up confused by her sudden attitude. "What?"

"What?" She repeated in a condescending tone. "Yeonjun you said this would be official when you got this stupid deal with your parents over with. It feels like you're not taking this seriously and I really want this to work. How long will I have to wait before we can become something serious?"

He sat up as well. "He's a guy Yeji I really don't know how to speed this up I'm not gay. I don't date men, I don't know how to make him like me."

"He got you an expensive watch and necklace." She said while giving him a look. "Your best friend got you a gift card to your favorite restaurant he clearly likes you already in some way. Men, you all can never just take a hint."

'Beomgyu likes me?' He thought to himself, he found his mind wondering off as he completely zoned out.

"Yeonjun!" She waved her hands in front of his face. "Just keep inviting him out and spending time with him. Hold his hand, touch him when you can, oh! Share things with him, not too much that you give it away but enough to make him open up and be vulnerable with you. That will win him over very quickly." She smiled at him. "Understand?"

"...yeah."

"Good." She laid back down, resting her head on his chest. "I can't wait for this all to finally be over." She closed her eyes and quickly fell asleep.

Yeonjun laid awake, now staring at the ceiling as he thought about what she just said. He wouldn't believe it. Beomgyu liking him didn't sound real or true and he wouldn't believe it unless Beomgyu told him himself.

But the thought of him liking him in that way...it didn't bother him.
