"Stay away."

Suddenly, Dhara felt a forceful shove, leaving her stunned. She stared at Samar, her eyes wide in shock.

His eyes had turned a deep, furious red. His jaw was clenched, every muscle in his neck taut with anger, his fists trembling as he gripped them tighter.

The sight of his seething anger made her shiver.

"How could you do this?" He demanded, his voice dripping with barely restrained fury.

Dhara's voice caught in her throat; the intensity of his fiery glare left her paralyzed, too frightened to utter even a single word.

"You spoke to me about a thousand trivial things, things that held no meaning." He spat, his voice rising. "You told me everything without hesitation, except for the one thing that truly mattered. The one truth you should have shared with me." His voice rose into a roar, and he seized her shoulders, his grip firm with the weight of his anger.

Dhara squeezed her eyes shut as his grip on her shoulders grew tighter.

"How dare you hide something so significant from me? How could you betray me like this? After all this time, all those moments we shared, this is what it comes to? I trusted you with everything." Rage twisted inside him, dark. and relentless. "You shared every little detail of your life with me, things that held no importance at all, and yet you kept this..." His heart pounded as betrayal sank in deeper, sharp and cold.

Tears streamed relentlessly from her eyes, overflowing in silent sorrow. She longed to explain, to tell him why she'd hidden something so important, but fear had stolen her voice, leaving her words trapped in her throat.

"Don't just stand there silent like this. Speak up, damn it, or I'll kill you-" He thundered, his voice trembling with fury as he threatened her, desperation and anger entwined in every word.

With trembling lips and a heart laid bare, Dhara took a shaky breath, gathering every ounce of courage as she looked up at Samar. Her eyes brimmed with tears, her voice soft and vulnerable.

"Hukum... I never wanted you to find out like this," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "I thought if I buried it deep enough, it would never touch us, never ruin what we have. I was only five," she whispered, her voice breaking. "A child who didn't understand what was happening, only that it felt wrong. It made me feel... dirty, broken."

She paused, fighting the urge to fall apart, forcing herself to keep speaking. "I hid it because I wanted to be free of it. I wanted to protect you from the ugliness of my past, from the shadows I still carry. I thought that if I never spoke of it, maybe it would just disappear."

Her gaze fell to the ground, her voice wavering. "But more than that... you're a king, Hukum," she murmured, her tone filled with quiet resignation. "And I'm just a servant in your palace. There will always be a distance between us, a world that separates our lives. From what place, what right could I ever tell you about such a dark part of myself? I didn't want to burden you with my shame, my pain."

She took a deep, shaky breath, then met his gaze with tear-filled eyes, the weight of her years of silence heavy in her words. "I was afraid, Hukum. I didn't want you to see me as broken, as less. I thought if you knew... you might look at me differently. I didn't mean to hurt you by keeping this from you. It was my way of protecting myself, of keeping some control over a part of my life that I never had control over."

Her voice softened as she finished, pleading for understanding. " I'm so sorry for keeping this from you, for hurting you by staying silent. But please... try to understand why. I only wanted to protect you from my pain, from the helplessness that's haunted me for so long."
