Dhara, her heart heavy with compassion and sorrow, sat silently, trying to understand the depth of Amma's pain. The woman who had so confidently presented herself as strong, as dignified, was now consumed by a grief so deep it had shattered her mind, leaving her trapped in a world where the lines between reality and illusion blurred.

Reva's voice dropped to a whisper, her gaze distant, lost in the tragedy of it all. "It's a painful kind of love, Dhara. And it's what keeps Amma going, even if it's not the love we understand. She loves Raghav... the son she never got to raise."

Tears silently fell from Dhara's eyes, her heart aching as she watched Amma tenderly play with the teddy bear, treating it like her own son. The sight was almost too much to bear. The love Amma poured into the toy was both beautiful and heartbreaking, a love that was born from an unimaginable pain.

"But when I look at her... she doesn't seem like someone who's mentally unstable," Dhara asked, her voice tinged with confusion. "She looks so... normal, like any of us. No one would guess she has a condition."

Reva's expression softened, her eyes filled with both sadness and empathy. "Amma is truly one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. She never harms anyone, and she's loved by everyone who knows her. But her pain... it's far greater than any of us could ever imagine." Reva paused, her voice breaking slightly as she continued.

"She's forgotten who she was. She's forgotten all that she achieved, all the strength she once had. She doesn't even remember that she has a master's degree in Horticulture and Botany... that she was a brilliant scholar in her college days."

Reva let out a long, heavy sigh, the weight of Amma's lost memories hanging between them. "She's forgotten everything about herself-her identity, her past. Everything... except Raghav." Her voice was soft, filled with sorrow, as she whispered, "Her baby. The only thing she remembers, the only thing that keeps her alive, till date."

As Dhara watched Amma, a question lingered in her mind. "Does she live here? Is this her haveli?" she asked, glancing around at the grand estate.

Reva shook her head gently. "No. This isn't Amma's haveli. But once, it was a place where she was deeply cherished."

Seeing Dhara's curiosity, she continued, "Amma's father worked here. He was the personal bodyguard of Bade Thakur, fiercely loyal and devoted to the family. The Thakurs were kind people, and though they had four sons, they never had a daughter. So when little Kashi-Amma-used to visit with her father, Bade Thakur and Badi Thakurain adored her as if she were their own child."

Reva paused, a distant sadness in her eyes. "When they found out that she had lost her mental stability, they were heartbroken. But they never knew the real reason behind it. Her father... he wove a different story-he told them she had met with a terrible accident, suffering a severe brain injury that left her this way. He never mentioned the truth-that she had once carried a child, that she had lost him before she ever got the chance to love him."

A tear slipped down Reva's cheek as she wiped it away. "Bade Thakur and Badi Thakurain believed his story. But instead of turning away from her, they grew even more protective. They had watched her grow, play, and laugh in front of them as a child. To see her like this... it pained them."
