"Royal Secrets (Shhhhh)" unveils the shadowy tale of a royal family, where the ancient palace of Rajgardh guards centuries-old mysteries within its walls. Secrets so dark they could have shattered generations, buried alongside long-gone kings, whisp...
“It was your first time, and I hope you won’t do it again. Don’t hug me. I don’t like it,” Samar said coldly and walked out of the room without a glance back.
His words hit Dhara like a stone. She didn’t stop him. She didn’t even try. Somewhere deep inside, she had finally accepted that he would never return to her—not today, not ever. Her heart felt unbearably heavy, like someone had placed a weight on her chest that she couldn’t remove.
She turned back toward the window, her tearful eyes gazing at the quiet moon. How many hopes she had when she hugged him for the first time, thinking that maybe, just maybe, he would understand her emotions—even if he didn’t show his.
But instead, all she had now were his words echoing in her ears:
“Whatever you feel, I will never feel. Don’t try to understand me… I don’t have the feelings to feel it.”
Still crying, she looked down at her bandaged finger—the one he had gently wrapped just a while ago. Even in his emotionless silence, he had taken care of her wound. But nothing could fix what was bleeding inside her.
Her steps, unsure and quiet, led her to Samar’s study. She stopped at the door.
He was seated at his royal desk, buried in work, with a pile of papers in front of him. His eyes stayed fixed on the documents, brows furrowed in concentration. He hadn’t even noticed she was standing there.
For a while, Dhara just watched him. Her eyes followed his every move, but he never once looked up.
After some time, he rose from his chair and walked to the large window, his back now facing her. His tall, broad frame stood still under the moonlight. The special symbol of Rajgardh, tattooed across his bare back, caught her eyes. That dark symbol added a strange depth to his already intimidating presence.
Dhara didn’t know what pushed her forward.
Maybe it was the pain. Maybe it was love.
Her feet began to move on their own. She had already been scolded and rejected, but still, she walked up to him again. Without saying a word, she slowly hugged him from behind. Her arms wrapped around him gently, her cheek resting softly against his back.
Then, standing on her toes to reach his tall height, she pressed a small kiss on the Rajgardh tattoo at the center of his back.
Samar didn’t move. The moment her lips touched his skin, his hand paused on the file he had been holding. But his expression didn’t change. His cold face remained unreadable. He stared out the window, not blinking, not reacting.
Dhara pulled away slightly and stepped in front of him.
His dark forest eyes locked with hers.
She didn’t look away this time. For the first time, she didn’t lower her gaze.
Before he could process her bold step, she leaned forward again—and gently kissed his chest, right over the lion tattoo inked near his heart.
A place he believed no one could reach.
A place she had just dared to touch.
