The Next Day - Veergardh
Before the sun even rose, Samar Pratap Singh arrived in Veergardh. His presence alone carried an air of power that made hearts tremble. In a dimly lit room, Basant Singh lay sprawled on the floor, unconscious from the previous night's drinking. His men, equally useless, snored around him.
Samar's sharp gaze darkened with disgust. Without warning, he delivered a powerful kick to Basant Singh's ribs. The sudden impact jolted him awake, but before he could fully grasp what was happening-
A bucket of ice-cold water was thrown over him.
Basant Singh gasped, shivering, trying to wipe the water from his eyes. But before he could even sit up-
A brutal punch landed on his jaw.
The force knocked him back, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. He groaned, clutching his face, eyes wide with terror as he looked up at Samar.
"R-Ranasa, please forgive me," he stammered, joining his hands in desperate plea.
But Samar was not a man who granted mercy to traitors.
Grabbing Basant Singh by the collar, he pulled him up. "How dare you? How dare you betray Rajgardh?"
Basant Singh whimpered, his body trembling.
Samar's voice was cold, razor-sharp.
"Did you think we would never find out? That you could run your dirty business here while Rajgardh remained blind to it?"
Another punch. Harder than before.
Basant Singh collapsed onto the ground, coughing blood. He sobbed, begging for forgiveness, but Samar's fury was relentless.
"You are nothing like your father, Basant Singh."
Disgust dripped from his words.
"He gave his life for Rajgardh, and you? You stabbed it in the back. And for that, you will suffer."
With one final, punishing blow, Basant Singh crumpled to the floor.
Samar turned to his men, his voice firm and unwavering.
"Throw this traitor and his family out of Veergardh immediately."
He stepped closer, his expression dark, merciless. **"Make sure he suffers enough to remember, till his last breath, what happens to those who betray Rajgardh."**
Abhinav stepped forward. "Ranasa, what should we do about the drug case?"
Samar wiped the blood off his hands, his eyes cold and calculating.
"Not a single word of this should reach the media. They will turn it into a scandal, and I will not let my name be tarnished because of someone else's stupidity."
His voice dropped lower, dangerously calm.
"Just make sure... he never opens his mouth again."

In Veergardh's Rajdarbaar
In the grand, empty Rajdarbaar, Samar sat alone on his golden throne, silently sipping his wine. The vast hall, once filled with voices of power and politics, now echoed with a deafening silence. His face held no emotion, yet there was something terrifying about his presence.
