"I am Sorry." She slowly came near him and hugged him from behind while whispering softly.

She knew that he would not come to her unnecessarily, he would come to her only when he wanted to quench his thirst with her body. But She needed him more than that.

It doesn't matter what their relationship is like. She was all alone in such a huge, crowded, cruel world. Where everyone was ready to eat it raw. But still she always feels safe under his wing.

Samar's lips stopped in the middle when he was about to take another sip that he heard the soft tearful broken voice of Dhara.

The tips of her tiny fingers were unconsciously pressing his abs. Her cool breath was blowing on his shoulder, serene tear drops were rolling down his bare back.

But he didn't budge an inch from his place nor respond to her apology and looked outside, sipping quietly. During this only her sobs were echoing. Seeing his cold and callous attitude towards her, she became more and more disheartened, and cried even more tightly holding him.

How strange is it that the one who is the cause of our pain, despite knowing it, we are crying on his shoulder. Whereas that person doesn't care about how you feel and will never help you get over your anguish.

After finish the last sip, he kept the empty glass aside and put his hands in his pockets.

" You know what Dhara, sometimes "sorry" doesn't work on some things, no matter how many times we try to fix it, Some things just stay wrong . " He replied coldly, without turning to her.

Hearing his cold words, she backed away with staggering steps. Only she knew how many times he would break and disheartened her with his harsh words.

" B - But I - . " She could not say anything further. What could she say to him, is it really her fault, but still she was apologizing to him, maybe she hadn't committed such a crime. But she was apologizing because she loved him unconditionally.

" Dhara, I told you once, just " Trust me ", but I don't think you take my words seriously. Even as a politician when I ask people to trust me, I am not saying this casually, just to earn their votes, but it really matter to me. " He said sternly, pulling her closer to him.

" H- Hukum - " She was about to explain, but he nodded negatively, and her words froze inside.

"Stop giving so much importance to your useless emotional feelings," he said harshly. "And don't even try to understand me, Dhara. I'm not built for that. I don't feel anything, and feelings don't get me either. We've stayed away from each other my entire life-twenty-seven years of this silent deal. That's why I don't go near emotions, and they don't come near me. And just because you've walked into my life now... doesn't mean that's going to change overnight."

He pushed her back with force as the final words left his mouth, cold and sharp.

Then, without warning, he picked up a nearby glass and slammed it against the wall.

Shards of glass flew, and some cut into his hand. Blood trickled down, but he didn't even flinch. Not a sound, not a wince. Just silence.

Dhara's eyes widened in fear. She ran toward him, panic-stricken, but he stopped her cold.

"Don't you dare come near me," he said sharply. "Do you see pain on my face? Am I screaming? No. I don't feel it."

His cold gaze met hers. "Abhinav might have told you a little, but let me tell you clearly. I have CIPA-Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and Anhidrosis. I've never felt physical pain since birth. I can't feel heat. I can't feel cold. And I can't feel pain. Not even a little."
