Two Months Later Samar’s days were a whirlwind of relentless duty. As a politician, his life was stitched together with tight schedules, endless meetings, and press conferences—an exhausting tapestry of responsibility. Yet he wore it well, always delivering justice to his work with unwavering resolve. But when the sun dipped below the horizon and he returned to the quiet of his palace at night, a subtle emptiness greeted him. Dhara was no longer there in his room and her absence lingered like a soft ache.

Their interactions had grown distant, mechanical. Dhara would enter silently every morning, clean his room with the same quiet precision, serve him breakfast, and leave as though she were nothing more than a shadow. Sometimes, in between those rushed moments, a stolen touch, a hurried kiss, a desperate encounter would occur—but it was always brief. And just as quickly, she would vanish again, fleeing like a hunted deer, terrified of Rajmata’s piercing gaze.

Flashback

“H… Hukum, pl… please let me go. Someone might come,” Dhara pleaded, her voice trembling as she squirmed beneath his iron grip.

But Samar was unyielding, his will a force she couldn’t break. She struggled helplessly, caught in his storm.

“Ahhhhh…” A sharp gasp escaped her lips as his love bite bloomed on her neckline.

He spun her around, pressing her against the wall, her front pinned there as he swept her long hair to one side. His lips trailed wet, fervent kisses along her shoulders and neck, each one a claim.

“H… Huk… Ahhhhh.” Her eyes squeezed shut, pain flaring as another love bite marked her skin.

“Why were you so late today?” he asked, his voice icy and low, fingers deftly untying the knot of her choli.

“You know I hate delays.”Dhara’s heart sank. This wouldn’t end well—she felt it.

Punishment loomed, or something worse, she couldn’t tell.

“H… Hukum, pl… R… Rajmata… please… she…” Her words stumbled over each other, but he was lost to her pleas, senses clouded. She clutched her choli desperately, but with a fierce tug, he tore it free, his lips descending on her back with wild abandon.

Dhara gasped, fear surging through her. She didn’t know what to do—her dupatta lay crumpled beneath his careless feet, a silent witness to her unraveling.

Flashback Ended.

Later that night, Samar stood silently before his wardrobe. His eyes landed on the very dupatta from that day—creased and faded, tucked away in a corner like a forgotten memory. A ghost of a smile played on his lips. Since that day, Dhara had started hiding a spare uniform in his wardrobe, knowing she might need it. And never once had she said a word. Never once had she protested. She accepted him, his darkness, and everything in between.

She never stopped him. Never resisted. Never blamed.
