As Becky unpacked her things in her room, she felt a wave of boredom wash over her. Rhea had already fallen asleep, leaving her with an urge to explore. With a spark of spontaneity, she decided to step into Freen's room.

Knocking lightly, Becky waited until Freen opened the door. "Hey, Becky! Do you want anything?" Freen asked, her voice warm.

"No, I just felt a bit bored," Becky replied. "Rhea is already asleep, and I thought about having a walk."

Freen's brow furrowed with concern. "A walk? But it's midnight, and I think it's not safe to go out now."

Becky's expression shifted, disappointment flickering across her face. Freen noticed and softened her tone. "If you want, I can take you somewhere."

Excitedly, Becky nodded her head, her spirits lifting once more.

Freen quickly grabbed her keys, and they hopped into the car. The drive was filled with a sense of anticipation. Soon they reached a secluded spot on a hill, and Freen gently helped Becky out of the car.

"Where are we?" Becky asked, looking around in curiosity.

"Hold my hand," Freen instructed, extending her arm. Becky took her hand, feeling a rush of excitement despite the darkness surrounding them.

"It's so dark," Becky noted as Freen guided her forward. They began to climb the hill slowly, Freen making sure to keep a steady pace as they reached the top.

Once they arrived, Freen turned Becky to face the view. "Look," she said softly.

Becky gasped in delight. "It's beautiful!" she exclaimed, overwhelmed by the stunning panoramic view of London illuminated by twinkling lights. She couldn't contain her happiness and hugged Freen tightly.

"It's more beautiful!" she shouted, exhilarated.

Freen tightened her embrace, feeling the warmth of the moment as Becky pressed herself closer. Their eyes locked, and the air felt charged between them. Freen leaned in slightly, their lips almost touching when suddenly her phone began to ring.

Startled, they broke apart. "Stay here," Freen instructed, glancing at the caller ID, which read "Laura " She stepped away to answer the call, her heart still racing from the intimacy they had just shared.

As Freen moved a few feet away, a tall woman approached Becky. The stranger's face was obscured by a black mask, and she wore a black hoodie and jeans. Fear coursed through Becky as she prepared to shout, but the woman swiftly covered her mouth.

"Becky, please listen! I'm not here to scare you. Please take this," she said urgently, pressing a small USB drive into Becky's hand. "You need to see this, but don't show it to Freen. It'll give you a clearer picture of your past."

Before Becky could process the situation, the woman slipped away just as Freen turned back toward her. The encounter left Becky feeling shaken, but she quickly tucked the pendrive into her pocket, her heart racing as she tried to act normal.

Freen returned, concern etched on her face. "Are you okay?" she asked, noticing Becky's sudden silence.

"Uh, yeah. I think I just have a headache. Can we go back home?" Becky said, forcing a smile.

"Of course," Freen replied, sensing that something was off but not wanting to pry.

During the drive back, an uneasy silence filled the car. Becky maintained her composure, the weight of the USB drive in her pocket heavy with potential secrets and revelations about her past that she wasn't ready to confront. Freen glanced over, concerned, but chose to respect Becky's space, hoping she would open up when she was ready.

"Mam, as you said, I gave the pendrive to Becky," the tall woman's voice echoed through the phone as she spoke to someone on the other end of the call, leaving a sense of foreboding lingering in the air.

Freen remained blissfully unaware, focused on getting them home safely, while Becky wrestled with her newfound burden and the unanswered questions it might bring.
