Freen nodded, her heart pounding as she followed Jennie back to the study. As she stepped inside, she saw her father standing by the window, his hands behind his back.

"Dad," Freen began, her voice trembling slightly.

Mr. Chankimha turned to face her, his eyes studying her closely. "Is this true, Freen? You don't want to do the MBA?"

Freen took a deep breath, summoning all the courage she had. "Yes, Dad. I don't. I know you've worked hard to give me this opportunity, and I appreciate everything you've done for me. But my heart isn't in business. I've always wanted to act, to be on stage, in films... it's what makes me feel alive."

Her father's face remained stern, but Freen pressed on.

"I know it's not the safest career choice, but it's my dream. I want to give it everything I have. And I can't do that if I'm stuck in something I don't love."

There was a long, uncomfortable silence. Mr. Chankimha looked down, processing everything she had said. Freen could feel her heart racing, her hands trembling slightly as she waited for his response.

Finally, he spoke, his voice quieter than before. "And what happens if this doesn't work out? What if you fail?"

Freen swallowed hard. "Then I'll try again. I'll keep trying until I make it, Dad. But I'd rather fail doing something I love than succeed in something that makes me unhappy."

Mr. Chankimha turned away, looking out of the window again. He stood there for what felt like an eternity before he finally sighed deeply. "You're sure about this?"

Freen nodded. "Yes, Dad. I'm sure."

Another long pause.

"Alright," he said at last. "If this is what you truly want... I won't stand in your way."

Freen's eyes widened in surprise, and Jennie smiled quietly in the background.

"But," Mr. Chankimha added, "you have to take it seriously. If you're going to do this, then I expect you to put in the same effort as you would in business. No half-measures, no excuses. Understand?"

Freen nodded quickly, her heart swelling with relief. "I will, Dad. I promise."

Without another word, Mr. Chankimha walked over to Freen and placed a hand on her shoulder. "But don't disappoint me and I need something From you in exchange."

Tears welled up in Freen's eyes as she hugged her father, overwhelmed with emotion. "Thank you, Dad. I won't let you down, What you need ?."

I will ask you at a right time , Mr. Chankimha left the room.

Jennie smiled from the doorway, proud of her sister for finally standing up for herself. As Once her Dad left ,Jennie wrapped her arms around her in a supportive hug.

"You did it, phi," Jennie whispered. "You're going to make an amazing actress."

Freen smiled, her heart lighter than it had been in years. For the first time, she felt like she was truly in control of her future.

And with Becky, Jennie, and even her father's reluctant blessing, she was ready to chase her dream.
