"BecBec, shall we head to the office?" Jennie asked, noticing Becky's pensive expression.

"I feel like she's been avoiding me these past few months, Jennie," Becky replied softly, sighing as she gathered her bag.

"You're overthinking, Bec. Maybe she's working on a surprise for you," Jennie said, patting Becky's head reassuringly.

Becky shook her head gently. "I know her, Jennie. She's never been great at expressing herself, but she's always made me feel special, like I belong in her life. Lately, though... it's just different."

As Becky slung her bag over her shoulder, a framed photo of her and Freen slipped out, hitting the floor and shattering. Becky quickly bent to pick it up, but a shard of glass pricked her finger.

"BecBec!" Jennie exclaimed, immediately grabbing Becky's hand and wrapping it with a cloth. "Are you okay?"

Becky managed a smile, though her eyes were clouded with worry. "I don't know, Jennie. I can't shake this feeling that something's wrong."

Jennie looked at her earnestly. "I promise, Bec. As long as I'm here, I won't let anything make you cry."

Meanwhile, on the flight, Freen sat slumped in her seat, half-heartedly holding up a magazine over her face.

"Freen, stop pretending to be asleep," Sierra said, nudging her.

Freen lowered the magazine, rolling her eyes. "What do you want, Sierra?"

"Why are you avoiding Becky?" Sierra asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not avoiding her," Freen replied defensively, turning to stare out the window.

"Don't lie," Sierra said firmly. "I know you, and I know you bought this last week for her birthday." She handed Freen a small gift box.

Freen snatched the box from Sierra and shoved it into her bag, avoiding eye contact.

Sierra sighed. "Tell me, Freen. What's bothering you?"

Freen took a deep breath, finally looking back at her friend. "Do you think I deserve her?"

"Are you kidding?" Sierra said, raising her eyebrows. "You've worked so hard—you even signed your first movie contract. That's huge!"

"Yeah, but it's not really because of my work, is it? I practiced for months for that audition, but in the end, they picked me because of my last name—Chankimha," Freen said bitterly. "Becky has loved me unconditionally, even flying out to the U.S. countless times just to see me. But I...I never went back because Dad kept saying I needed to focus on my career."

Sierra looked at Freen, her expression softening. "Freen, you're giving this your all, and I know how much effort you've put into this role. Your success will be a product of your hard work, not just your dad's name. And about Becky—she's loved you all this time because she understands you. She knows the parts of you that you try to hide. She doesn't need big gestures, Freen. Just you."

Freen managed a small smile, a weight lifting slightly from her shoulders.

"And don't forget," Sierra added, grinning, "you're lucky to have a sister who bought you a ticket to spend time with your girlfriend."

With a quiet nod, Freen leaned back, her mind drifting to Becky, a faint sense of peace settling over her.
