Freen gave Laura a tour of the entire home.

"My dear friend, I have to say, you have excellent taste. Maybe it's time for you to commit to someone?" Laura teased.

"Stop it, don't start!" Freen replied, walking into her bedroom.

"How long do you plan on staying single? If you say yes to dating, there would be plenty of people lined up. Your fans are in love with you. Especially after that GL series, you've got a long line of girlfriends waiting. You should choose someone soon," Laura said, following Freen.

Freen pushed aside the curtains at the window and looked through the glass. She noticed a little girl playing with someone on the opposite terrace. Curious about who it was, Freen opened the glass door and walked out onto the balcony. She was so focused on seeing the woman playing with the little girl that she barely listened to Laura's speech.

Noticing Freen was distracted, Laura tapped her on the shoulder. Freen turned to look at her.

"Freen, where are you? Did you hear anything I said?" Laura asked.

"What did you say?" Freen rubbed her neck.

"Wow, nowadays you don't even want to listen to me," Laura said, clapping her hands in mock frustration.

"I'm sorry, I zoned out. Can I get a cup of coffee?" Freen asked.

"Sure! Stay here," Laura replied and left the room. Freen turned back toward the opposite terrace, but the woman was gone. Now, only the little girl was still playing. Freen's face fell with disappointment. Just then, a hand stretched out in front of her, offering a cup of coffee.

"Here you go," Laura said, handing Freen the cup.

"Thanks," Freen replied, taking the cup but still facing the terrace.

"Why are you so focused on that little girl?" Laura asked, pointing towards the child.

"Not her. I saw a woman playing with her earlier. I didn't see her face, but something about her name made my heart race. I don't know exactly what it was, but I felt like I had to see her face. And because of you, I missed it!" Freen said, setting the coffee cup down with a sigh.

Laura laughed. "Why are you so interested in her?"

"Wait! Wait! It's not what you think. I don't know, it's just...curiosity. I felt like I needed to see her. Now, please leave. I need to rest. I have a lot of work tomorrow," Freen said, pointing towards the door.

"Whatever. I like this side of you, Freen," Laura said, chuckling as she left the room.

Freen stayed standing on the balcony, watching the little girl play, her thoughts lingering on the mysterious woman she had missed.
