Amyra had decided to stay after school for volleyball tryouts. I used to play sports with her, but after injuring my leg I had fallen out of the style and gotten kinda lazy. I collected my things and was relieved when Cyn offered to give me a ride home. I met up with her and saw that she was chatting with Red's brother, who was the one who gave me this shirt. His name is Trevor. He was attractive and was pretty nice. As I approached, I could see that Cynthia was upset. "Whatever Trevor." She snapped. He turned to leave, but I stopped him. "I'll give this to you tomorrow, washed." I assured him. He smiled. "Thanks." He said before walking off. I got into the car. She was pretty quiet. She was a mess. I could tell she was about to cry, but I was praying she wouldn't in front of me. I'm terrible at comforting others.

She whimpered as she pulled into an empty lot, parking the car. Dammit. She began crying and crying loudly. "I-I can't believe how stupid I was." I awkwardly reached into my bag, giving her my shirt from earlier that was already ruined. She looked at me with smeared makeup, like I was stupid. She still wiped her face though. After she finished crying, I decided to speak. "Are you okay?" Stupid question. "No. I've been having a secret relationship with my best friend's brother. Now I'm pregnant and he wants nothing to do with me." She confessed. "I just...I never knew he could be so cruel. Like how could you claim to love a person and just-just..." She cried into the shirt, leaving me dumbfounded. "Uh..It's gonna be okay." I say unsure. She shook her head. "It's not." She cried. "I can't have a baby. My mom lost her job and we're already struggling." She began to rant. Why is she telling me this? She must've been holding this in for a while. "I get how you feel." I responded. "You're pregnant?" She asked. My eyes widen. "No." I reply quickly. She chuckles. "Thought so." She says. "I mean, my dad lost his job. So we had to move here, for better living." I admitted. She nodded. "Oh. Well thanks for listening to my bs." She sniffled. "It's okay." I chuckled. "It's just I haven't told anybody. Only Trevor, God and I know..and now you. Please don't tell anyone? I want to wait to tell Red before anybody else." She replied. "Don't worry. It's not my place." I assured her. The rest of the car ride, we chatted about other thing to keep her mind off of her current situation.
