I sat in psychology class, thinking of possible outcomes to this sad, sad agreement. Just as I came back to reality my teacher had called on me. I swear she had something against me. Always calling me out. I sigh. "What?" I respond. "Did you hear what I had just said?" She asked. "Honestly, no." I answered. "Hm, well you're partnered with Andre for this assignment. Andre please explain it to her." I looked over to Andre. He was very polite. I remember he had covered for me once when I didn't turn in an assignment.

Andre was cute and really smart. He was mixed with some kind of Asian and Hispanic. I could never really tell, until Red told me. Andre was a cousin to her, but one if those cousins you only see at rare family events. Andres always helped me out in this class though, since my first day at this school.

Andre smiled. "You should really start paying attention." I sighed. "I know, but I make A's on the test so it's no biggie." I replied. "Basically, we just have to decide on a mental disorder to do research over and try advocating it. I was thinking about ODD." He explained. "And what is that?" I asked. "It's a childhood disorder where-" the bell rings signaling dismissal. "I'll explain another time." He smiled. I smiled back and began collecting my books. "See you around." I said and he nodded back. Just as I was about to leave the class I felt some grip my upper arm. I turned quickly to see Andre who quickly let go of me. He cleared his throat in an awkward manner.  "Actually um...Why don't we meet up?" I stared kind of taken back.  "Oh when?" I asked. "Tomorrow night? I can give you my number next class and we can discuss everything." I nodded.  "Sure.." I replied slightly unsure.  Not to sound big headed or anything, but I could tell when a guy was attracted to me in anyway.  I just couldn't tell if he was attracted to me in a friendly or romantic way, I was hoping it was not romantic. I didn't need Scorpio getting any ideas and I wanted him to know that I am 100% loyal to him. I walked away from the scene still feeling a bit unsure.  I mean it's a project, nothing serious.

Lunch time came around, which was nice. I could get my mind off some things. Honestly it was more awkward than I thought it'd be.
Shawn was nowhere to be found, so I was having a quiet lunch with Stefan and Red. Shawn most likely told Stefan about what's happening between us, I could tell by his actions. "How's everything at home?" Red asked suddenly.  "I mean with the loss and all,  are you and Amyra okay?" I tilted. "We're doing alright." I nodded. "That's good, if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here. I lost my dad too, so hit me up if you ever need anything." Stefan says. I nodded. "Yeah, I know I can. Thanks Stef." He smiled and turned to Red. "I'm gonna meet with Scorpio. I'll see you later. " he kissed her cheek before leaving us alone.

"Why don't we do something tonight?" she asked. I sighed. "I can't. Remember I have orientation for the job at Hollister?" I reminded. "Oh I forgot. Well are you nervous?" I shrugged. "Not really. I guess a few people from school work there, so it should be pretty comfortable." I said. "My cousin works there." she said. "Oh." was all I said.  "You get along with Andre though so-" "Andre? Andre works there?" she nodded. "Yeah,  he's like a team/shift leader so he'll probably be training you. If you're lucky." I rolled my eyes internally.  "Yeah if I'm lucky." I mumbled.

I just want you all to know I really do appreciate every one of you. You're some of the best and most supportive readers I've ever had for any of my books and I really am grateful. I remember pleading for votes Bruh lol. I don't really go on wattpad too much unless I'm updating another book or reading some comments so I never saw the come up this book had made. And let me tell you..i was shook. You guys show so much love and informative, or just useful/funny/thoughtful comments. I love it. Believe it or not, I do read every single comment. Lol sometimes I'm late or I don't respond simply because I don't always know how to respond, but I try to. For my Questions/about-me chapter I love learning so much about you guys. I've read each one and it's great to see where all my readers come from, like literally from CA to the islands. I loved learning simple or reputable things about everybody. Shoutout to those who participate and respond to my story in anyway by voting or commenting or even just reading. Thank you so much.
Sorry for such the long wait. But I'll try my best to get somethings done. This was winter break so I figured I'd update. I'm going into my second semester at college. This time I'm doing college classes all day. Idk if you knew but I was under dual arrangement to take college and high school courses.  Now I'll be on campus all day. Wish me luck and good luck to all of those with their education, jobs, family, goals and lives.  ❤
