(A picture of Red and Amira heading to the beach)

Today I was going to the beach with Red. Cyn was supposed to come too, but she had an appointment, so it was just us two, Trevor, and some of his friends.

I had been trying to figure out how to tell Cynthia about my sister and Trevor. I guess Red already knows. "Honestly, my brother's a man hoe. I try to tell every girl to be careful, but they still f*** with him. So whatever happens with those three is their business. I'm just not with petty drama." Red explained as she texted somebody, while I was driving. "Yeah, but if Myra is involved, I'm involved. I swear, she's always getting me into some sh**." I said. "Trevor is never serious about relationships though. He's always with a different girl. Like, dude has mad girls and no disrespect to ya sis, but she just another one. I don't want her to get hurt though. Have you talked to her about him?" She said. "Girl, I tried. She really likes him though. No disrespect to you, but I can't stand your brother." The both of us laughed. "Which way?" I asked, stopping at a stop sign. "Right." She said. We were on our way to pick up Trevor and his friends, because they all wanted to go together, instead of meeting up. After the beach we planned on going to the movies. Amyra, didn't want to go to the beach, but she wanted to see Straight Out of Compton, so she was coming later.
"But I mean, she's good as long as she doesn't start having sex with him. She's not that stupid.." Red spoke referring to Myra. I sighed and didn't reply. "Oh..my bad." Red responded. It was pretty awkward after that. "So anyways, tell me about Stefan." I changed the subject. She giggled as a blush went over her cheeks." Stefan, is a friend of Trevor's. He's the only reason why we decided to hang out with them. Usually Red can't stand being around her brother. Stefan, is a tall, boy with nice brown skin. He's black and Puerto Rican and the only reason why I know so much about him is, because Red doesn't shut up about him. He is a cutie. He has curly hair that he wears in a ponytail, or braids. In my opinion, he's attractive (I'll put a pic of Stefan up in the next chapter)."We talked till like 3am last night." She said. "He's been having family problems." She added. "Why don't you just date him." She scoffed. "Why don't you just date Mr. Scorpio?" She retorted. I rolled my eyes. "We're not.." I paused. That made me think. What am I to him? Why is he just having me around, just because? I'm not his girlfriend and he isn't my boyfriend. So what am I to him? "We're not really serious. I don't know what we are." I shrugged, in all honesty. She stared at me. She raised a brow and smirked. "Is it good?" She asked. "Is what?" I replied. "The D. Cause I'm just saying, I heard somethings from a couple of girls and I'm just curious, to know if it's really that serious. Cause them b****es be dramatic. Tell me the truth. Be honest." I realized where she was going with this. "We're not- We never even did that." I defended myself. "Seriously? Wow, he must actually like you, cause it usually only takes him a few days before he gets what he wants." She said. I rolled my eyes. "And how would you know?" I asked. "I know everything about everyone." She smirked. She's such a gossip girl. "You are so nosy." I shook my head. "No, I'm not." She denied as we waited in front of a house for them to come out. I beeped the horn. "Yes you are." I replied.
Stefan had gotten into the back of my suburban, with Trevor, a girl and two other boys I didn't recognize. "Maybe I am." She finally admitted and the both of us laughed. "Maybe you are what?" Trevor asked. "Stay out my mouth." She said rolling her eyes. "And I thought you said it was only three people." Red spoke. "Well, it's not." He scowled. "This is Amira's car and she doesn't even know these people." She argued. "Amira, this is Stefan, Ryan, Trey and Ciara." He explained. I chuckled. "You guys are childish." I said. They argued over everything and anything on the whole ride there. About her pushing her seat back, the radio station, the windows and just everything.

I was glad to get out of the car and to get onto the beach.

I didn't really swim much. My stomach had been hurting, so I just chilled on the sideline.
I was about to get up, when the Trey boy sat next to me. "Uh hey." I greeted. He smiled. "Hey." He replied. "So, why ain't you in the water?" He asked. I shrugged. "Not really feeling it." I said. He nodded. "So are you just gonna stay here?" He asked. "Um I was just about to get something to snack on." I said. "Oh, want some company?" He asked. "Sure, but let me see if anyone wants anything." I said. Everyone had said that they would just eat before or at the movies. "So where do you want to eat?" I asked. "How about Denny's?" He asked. "Oh I meant like a shack that's actually on the beach." I chuckled. "But I really want Denny's and the shacks are going to close in 15 minutes." He said. I sighed. "Okay." I reluctantly agreed. "Can I drive?" He asked. I never trusted anyone to drive my car. I laughed. "No, cause I don't know you." I said. He chuckled. "Smart excuse." He smirked. We got into the car and actually shared a nice 2 minute conversation on our way there.

"We could've just walked here." I said, laughing. It was right around the corner.
I ordered the same sandwich that I always get when I went to Denny's. "So what's up with you?" He asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Tell me about you. Didn't you come from Arkansas or something?" He asked. I laughed. "I came from Ohio." I said. "Oh my bad." He chuckled. "What about you?" I asked him. "I'm from Fremont, Ohio. I moved here like 5 years ago. What part of Ohio are you from?" He replied. "Oh cool and I'm from Cleveland." I answered. "Okay. So are you single?" He asked. I didn't know how to answer the question. I mean, I am. "Yeah." I replied. I could tell he was flirting. I didn't mind, cause he was adorable. He had bright blue eyes and dark hair, he also had a piercing by his lip with his ears pierced. I could tell that he was different in a way. I liked the edge to his style. It was strange, but cute. "That's surprising. You seemed too cute to be single." He flirted again. In a way I felt almost bad to be allowing someone else to openly flirt with me. That isn't bad, right? "Thank you." I replied. "We should hang out sometime." He smirked. I thought about it. The thought that 'boys only want one thing' had come to my mind. In a way he did sound like he wanted one thing. He seemed like the kind of guy who just gets straight to the point. Before I could answer I felt his hand on my upper thigh and froze up. "Maybe we could." I smiled removing his hand. "But don't be touchy." I joked. "I'm gonna go to the restroom." I excused myself. I was annoyed, because I couldn't get Shawn off my mind. I walked into the restroom and was surprised to see, Ally. I haven't seen her much, unless it's in school. She looked at me, rolling her eyes. "I didn't expect to see the side chick here." I laughed. "I'm nobody's side chick sweet heart." I was unfazed by her antics. She was only 5'2, petite and was scaring nobody. "Besides aren't you like only 15? What would he want with you?" I asked as I just washed my hands. I never had to use the bathroom. I just needed an excuse to get up. "I'm actually 17, older than you. If you really wanna know what he wants from me, ask him and he'll name all the positions." My eyes widened. "No thanks." I replied. I decided to leave the restroom and on my way out I saw...Shawn. What's he doing here? That can't be a coincidence. I wanted to approach him, but decided not to. I took a seat and just finished my food. I guess Trey noticed how bothered I was. "What's wrong?" He asked. "It's not-" "Amira?" I looked up, seeing Scorpio. "Shawn." I replied carelessly. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "Eating." I said. "Who's this?" He asked, with much attitude implied. "I'm Trey." He smiled. "Why is he with you?" Scorpio asked. "Why is she with you?" He immediately realized who I was talking about. "She's not..." He stared at Trey. "Could we talk outside?" He asked. I gave Trey my cut. "I'll be outside." I said. "What's this for?" He gave me back my money. "I'll pay." He said. I thanked him, then met Scorpio outside. "So what's your excuse?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "I was here with some friends and Tyson brought his girlfriend and she brought her friend, who happened to be Ally. That's not my fault. But then she wanted to talk. So everybody had left and I told her she only had a few minutes, but really it was nothing. She just wanted to talk about us, but there is no us between me and her, so don't worry about it." He explained. "So why is she calling me a side chick?" I asked. "You're not. I swear." I stared at him, so angered. Trey had walked outside. I turned to look back at Shawn. "I have to go." I said. "So that's it?" He asked. "Bye, Shawn." I spoke not answering his question. I just feel like I'm being played and I refuse to be a side chick. I can't put up when him if I don't trust him.
