-Shawn's POV-
There was only one familiar face in the room. It was the last face I wanted to see. "Ally, who the hell are these people and why are you in my house?" I say, leaving the door open. "We have to talk." She said as if the whole situation wasn't bizarre at all. "Who the hell are these people and why are you in my damn house?" I repeat. "I said we need to talk" she says, putting her hands on her hips, opening her jacket more revealing her slight baby bump. I didn't really care. I knew I had nothing to worry about. "Uh, okay. That's cute, but you can leave and take your friends with you." I said, holding the door open. "I thought you might say that. So we brought some encouragement for you." She said and surprisingly Amira walked in with a guy holding her tightly by the arm. She looked very careless. She sighed. "I don't know what the heck this is about. I'm just trying to go home. So could you hurry and have your little talk s-" "Did I say you could speak?" The man yelled at her. At first I was very pissed to see another man holding her like that, but then looking at the entire situation was too funny. It was hard to not laugh. You could tell they were very unprepared and didn't know what they were doing. They all looked really embarrassed and I could tell they were upset for allowing Ally to drag them here for this. "You can all leave, and leave her here. Goodbye." I said. Nobody moved. I was getting frustrated. "Would you like for me to call the police or.." They all began looking at each other in panic. "Don't worry guys he won't. He has too much going on in his home, he wouldn't risk allowing them to come here." I rolled my eyes. I took out my phone. The man let go of Amira and she quickly rushed away from him and toward me, to my surprise nobody stopped her. "Ally, you wasted my damn time. I can't believe I actually came here for this sh*t!" The girl rushed out of the house. She seemed to be the first smart one. Two other boys looked at each other before quietly making their way to the door. It was pretty awkward and in a way I felt bad for her. She was so desperate, even her friends were annoyed with it. "Seriously?! You're all just going to leave?" She says. "Give it up Ally." The man who was holding Amira says. She scoffed at him. "Look, you need to get out of my house and find something else to do. Both of you." I interrupted. "No! I'm pregnant and my baby deserves to have its father in its life." Amira looked extremely frustrated, but I really haven't been with Ally in over 7 months and she only looked like she was early in her pregnancy. "It can't possibly be me." I replied. "I'm 2 months." She said. "It's definitely not me then. I haven't messed with any other girl in 6 months so just stop embarrassing yourself and leave." She began getting teary eyed. "I'm sorry." She said before rushing out. It seemed like this was just some scheme to get revenge and fortunately it all began to derail. It fell apart quickly and that's exactly what she deserved. She probably lied to those people too. I was still debating on calling the police or not. Then again, it was all just petty.
Amira shuts the door and turns to me. "You sure know how to pick 'em, don't you?" She mocked. "Don't get all judgmental, I picked you. Remember?" I chuckled. "I'm surprised that you don't seem fazed by any of this." She said. "I've dealt with crazy girls." She raised a brow. "I'm surprised you're not fazed." I said. She sighed. "They were obviously really confused." She said. "I missed you." I replied. She crossed her arms below her chest and her attitude was now present. "Where were you?" She asked. "I was...in Ohio I had to do some things for Mikey while he was in the hospital. I was gonna tell you but I left my phone." I explained. She rolled her eyes. "What if these people were legit crazy?!" She yelled. "They chased me, damn near hit me with their car! Then they kidnapped me and held me here for hours! For the dumbest sh*t too!" All of a sudden, I felt guilty and angry. "They chased you? And kidnapped you?" I asked. Was she really serious? "Yes! I can't do this!" She replied. "What do you mean? Do what?" I asked. "You come with too much sh*t." She says. She was being honest, but...but I needed her. "Don't say that. Don't be like that." I said. "I just need to be alone." She said. "You're going home?" I asked. "Yeah." She turned to leave. "I'll take you. I don't want anything happening to you." She rolled her eyes again as I got my keys to lock the door.
The drive there was short, but it seemed like forever. It was really quiet and I hated it. I pulled into her driveway. She was quick to reach for the door handle, but I stopped her, pulling her close to me. I hugged her and she hugged back. Without letting go of her I kissed her soft, inviting lips. I kissed her with passion and love for a long moment. I was afraid that this may be the last time I kissed her so I had to make sure I enjoyed it. I pulled away. "I'm sorry that this happened. If you want, we can go to the police when you want. I want you to understand that this really was out of my control and I would never wan-" "I get it. Okay, forget it." She said. "I love you." I said. She stared at me for a short moment before speaking again. "I know." She said and left just like that. No "I love you" back. Just a door slam and that was that. There wasn't really anything I could do. I wasn't going to be upset with her though. She just needed to calm down, she obviously went through a lot. I was worried about her.
I was worried about us.
