Elizabeth woke up with the bright sun hitting her face. She realized what it was today.

Her blind date.

"Oh dear, I have to be early for the blind date." She immediately sat up and looked at her phone. It was 7:17, Her date was at 10 am.

"Enough time to prepare." She sighed in relief, taking her phone from it's charger and fixed her sheets before heading down stairs for breakfast.

She was greeted with the delicious smell of pancakes. "Oh, good morning Elizabeth." Margaret greeted, Veronica looked up from her phone with a surprised look. "It's 7 am on a Saturday, why are you awake."

"She's right, you're usually up at 9 or later." Margaret placed a stack of pancakes in front of her sisters. "I have plans today." Elizabeth told her sisters.

"This early in the morning? This better be some date then." Margaret smiled at Elizabeth, making her blush. "How'd you know?"

Veronica choked on her pancake and immediately drank water to flush it down. "You're going on a date?!"

"Well, a blind date with Diane's other friend."

"Thank the Goddesses you're finally going out." Veronica face palmed. "I'm not sure whether to be offended or not." Elizabeth laughed.

"We're just excited, we're telling mom and dad later." Margaret told her, making her groan. "Can you tell them after the date?"

"Too late, I already texted mom." Veronica chuckled, showing her phone to Elizabeth. She sighed and decided to eat while they teased her.

After breakfast, she headed back to her room and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath.

Elizabeth was nervous for her first blind date. Her best friend Diane was fed up with just being cooped up in her room everyday just watching movies and TV shows. So, she took it upon herself to get Elizabeth into dating someone.

She couldn't say no because she was slowly realizing that staying locked up in her room for God knows how many hours isn't healthy.

Besides, she wanted to try new things for once.

Diane told her that she was gonna be setting up a blind date for her with a friend of hers that Elizabeth doesn't know. She didn't say any details about the boy she was going out with, but it was made sure that he was to be trusted.

Only thing she said was the place that they were going to meet.

Amour et café

It was a cafe down the street, it was a nice cafe that Elizabeth and Diane always go to for coffee. The staff were nice and the coffee was amazing there.

Elizabeth left the bathroom with her hair tied in a towel, while being wrapped in a white robe.

There was a problem that Elizabeth had to face for this very day, she didn't know what to wear. She didn't think too deeply about her clothes for the blind date, she thought she'd just pick out anything from her closet.

But she was wrong, she actually had to make an effort to look pretty for this date.

Diane told her to wear something casual but cute and attractive. This made Elizabeth stress about her outfit.

Her casual looks were a huge sweater and leggings or skinny jeans. Her cute outfits were her skater skirts and short dresses. While her attractive outfits were usually dresses that showed off every curve.

Elizabeth took some time to think of her outfit, "I guess it's time to bring out clothes I never thought i'd wear."

She rummaged through her closet and took out a cream loose knitted sweater that wasn't baggy unlike her other comfortable clothes. She then took out her black skater skirt just waiting to be used.

Elizabeth was contented with her outfit that she picked, it was both cute and comfortable. She thought of just bringing a small handbag with her so it would look nice.

After she wore her outfit, she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled. "It's been a long time feeling cute and put together." She giggled, then brushed her hair.

She was to lazy to put her hair in a cute bun or any type of hair style, besides, she thought it looked nice just having it down.

She wasn't very fond of using make up, but her mother always sent her make up and this was the only time she thanked her mother for sending her make up because it was the only time she'd use it.

"Hey, first impressions." She told herself as she put on a subtle amount of make up on her face. She wasn't an alien to make up so she was able to make herself look decent. Hiding the bags under her eyes were one of the reasons why she would even try to do make up.

She then wore a gloss and looked at herself in the mirror, "That's fine, it's not trying too hard."

Taking her cream hand bag, she shoved her wallet and pepper spray inside. She looked at the time, it was 9:35. "Time to go."

She headed down stairs and saw her sisters giving her grins. "Someone's looking extra cute today!" Veronica exclaimed.

"Well, I have to look good right? Does everything match? I'm wearing my black Vans with this." Elizabeth asked. Margaret face palmed and sighed while Veronica nodded.

"Don't listen to Margaret and her arsenal of heels, your outfit goes with Vans." Veronica told her, she nodded and headed to their shoe closet near the door. She slipped in her Vans and looked at her self in the mirror that was by the door.

"All good?" She asked one last time to her sisters and they both nodded. "Good luck!" They cheered as she left the house.

Elizabeth checked the time again when she was walking, it was already 9:45. "Oh no." She told herself.

She was now thinking of how she'll get there. There are two ways, walking as fast as she could and ruin her make up and outfit but be punctual or be late but looking amazing.

She did both.

She walked fast but carefully for her to not look horrible. As soon as she saw the cafe's sign, she sighed in relief, but when she checked the time, it was already 10 am.

"And, i'm still late." She stopped and took a breath and calmly walked towards the cafe. She opened the door and was greeted with the owner. "Good morning, Elizabeth!"

"Good morning, Ms. Natalie." Elizabeth greeted back and scanned the cafe, she didn't know who she was looking for, so she assumed the lonely guy on his phone near the bookshelf was her date.

She took a breath and walked towards his table. As she got there, the boy looked at her. "Hi, I'm Elizabeth Liones. Are you my date? I'm sorry i'm late--" Elizabeth stopped talking because the boy just looked at her.

"--is there something on my face?" She asked, the boy gave her a small smile. "your bangs are everywhere." He moved closer and moved her bangs out of her face.

"Oh, thank you..", "Meliodas Drakon."

As Elizabeth looked at him closer, she realized that he looked familiar. "Have I seen you somewhere?"

Meliodas shrugged, "probably?"

The two of them laughed and he stood up, "Want coffee? It'll be on me."

"What really? Thank you." Elizabeth smiled at him and he went on to the counter. She stared at his back as she was trying to remember where she's seen him.

But there was something that she immediately noticed, he was cute.
